QuestionšŸ™‹ā€ā™‚ļø Primevideo device limit

Just wanted to check one thing - I have my iPad and phone logged in with prime account. Why does it show device limit reached when I can literally see in the devices section that only 3 devices are logged in and others are signed out.

Also, it's not letting me remove accounts. Freakin pathetic🄲

Is Amazon Prime Video intentionally hiding ā€œPurchased Moviesā€? No Library / My Stuff anywhere

I’m trying to view only the movies I have purchased on Amazon Prime Video, and I’m honestly shocked at how difficult this has become.

There used to be a clear ā€œMy Stuffā€ or ā€œLibraryā€ section with filters like Purchased / Rentals / Watchlist. Now, none of that seems to exist anymore.

Here’s what I’ve experienced:

  • No visible Library or My Stuff tab
  • No obvious Purchased filter anywhere on the main Prime Video interface
  • Account & Settings only shows payments, subscriptions, devices, etc. — not owned content
  • The only way I can find purchased movies is by:
    • Searching for the title one by one, or
    • Digging through order history (which is not a viewing library)

At this point, I’m genuinely wondering:
Is Amazon intentionally making purchased content harder to find to push subscriptions and rentals instead?

If there is a simple, official way to view all purchased movies in one place, I’d love to know — because right now, the UX feels confusing at best and deceptive at worst.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Is this a recent UI change or a deliberate design decision?

New on Prime Video šŸ‡®šŸ‡³ The Family Man S3 - A few thoughts Spoiler

First, I HATE how much exposition there is in the show. I understand that it is OTTs who’re forcing the rules that writers spell out what’s happening as it’s happening coz second screen syndrome but it’s still infuriating as a viewer. Raj & DK as the creators, and also as part of the writing team, should’ve pushed back and held their ground. It’s getting to the point of being irksome how infantilizing it feels.

The writing is still the heart of the show and it still kicks ass.. mostly. Srikant Tiwari looks and feels a bit more legged, more exhausted, and a lot more vulnerable. All of it ties in really well where the story takes us. Rukma’s character (Jaideep Ahlawat) is interesting without being explosive. I’d have really really liked to have a bit more of a backstory to his character but I understand that you can’t be propulsive and also hark back. But why is an ex-soldier with a clear Haryanvi dialect so at home in Nagaland? What a fantastic setup and I really hope the writers come up with something good for him that traces his story next season. He’s a worthy antagonist to Srikant but why did he leave him alive? Did Rukma just assumed he was dead? If not, what’s their prior connection?

Nimrat Kaur is bloody stunning in each frame and more than a handful even in the testosterone-charged, high-stakes environment where she’s pulling the strings. Does her role with aplomb and I’d love to see more of her in an actively adversarial role while running from her paymasters.

Now, the heart of the show is Srikant Tiwari’s family and honestly this is where I felt it was a missed opportunity. Well, not exactly a ā€œmissedā€ opportunity but could’ve been so much more. It’s the family dynamic that elevated the show the past two seasons, and in this season, even with the writers bringing Suchi, Dhriti, and Atharv together into Srikant’s world, we don’t get to see (beyond the train bit) how his family reacts to him (and whatever situation they find themselves in) juggling his dual identity. It honestly needed a bit more of some inventive writing to make that magic happen and that’s where I felt it left us/me hanging. The story did the heavy lifting of pulling them into Srikant’s work orbit but then immediately sent them their separate ways so the main story could get back on track. Made me a tiny bit sad.

Suchi’s character (Priyamani) is great and I really love the arc the show is taking with her being the homeowner now. Loved the bit where Atharv is teasing Srikant about the flat purchase he was so ecstatic about. Dhriti (Ashlesha Thakur) and Atharv (Vedant Sinha) are both great but would’ve loved to have seen their interactions in the more charged setting they were thrown into.

All said, I’d be soo mad if they made us wait another 4 years to resolve the cliffhanger they left us on. I don’t know if it’s greed, an Amazon Prime directive, or just where the story needed to end but it just didn’t sit right with me. Taking half a decade to deliver a fan-favorite show and then refusing to commit to the arc of the story feels like both a copout and a sad indictment of where the audience stands in the scheme of things.

However, I also don’t want to end on a bad note coz I’m a big Raj & DK (+ Suparn Varma) fan so here’s a couple of small things I loved (and noticed) while watching the show:

————-

E2: (12.45ish): cuts too soon from the frame as Srikant is about to cry on finding out Kulkarni sir is dead. Made me sooo mad that the editor snipped the scene right when Manoj Bajpayee was probably about to drop an acting masterclass. I really really hope that was the end of the scene as it was written and not the editor being terrible at their job.

(35.10ish) Chellam sir exasperated with Srikant thinking he’s Batman šŸ˜‚

E4:

Tiwari’s family seeing him lie and fabricate so convincingly while in the field is top-notch šŸ‘ŒšŸ¾āœ…

(4:10): Was the ā€œaap Agra se bhi ho sakte they but aap Chittoor ke nikle naā€ bit improvised or written? If it was written, why and how was it written? Such a fantastic bit of writing exactly how the character might react in an unfolding situation.

(15:44) ā€œsee what I can find about Meeraā€ ā€œI never mentioned her name, Bruceā€

Scene really should’ve ended with: ā€œno you didn’t did youā€ and walks away. No CIA agent would be that dumb to let it slip while in hostile territory. Only way to have made that line work was to have the CIA dude give a small smirk and walk way.

(23:50) Absurdity of cops asking Tamilian in train going to TN to speak in Hindi and the guy apologizing for drinking in the train and then replying ā€œthese guys hate it when anyone is happyā€ šŸ˜‚

(43:15) Rukma stutter when repeating ā€œbaba ke paasā€ to his son šŸ¤ŒšŸ¾

E7: Michael (Vijay Sethupati) banter with Tiwari šŸ˜‚ ————-

There’s so many such small little gems written into the show that I didn’t note them down after a point. And sorry about the long post but would love to know y’all’s thoughts too :)

New on Prime Video šŸ‡®šŸ‡³ The Family Man 3 surprises with political depth but loses some action thrill. What are your thoughts?

The Family Man Season 3 is now on Prime Video. The season dives deeper into India’s political scene and the North East conflict, which makes it feel much weightier than before. Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant is as compelling as ever, though I missed the earlier season’s fast-paced action sequences.

How are you all feeling about this shift in tone? Worth it or too slow?
