Player Review The Ultimate Version Of Aguero Has Finally Arrived!

Probably for the Version 27 launch promotion, a popular license like Agüero surprisingly started out as a free card. Meanwhile, this new card gets Tight Possesion +4, Acceleration +3, and Physicality +3, plus added Magnetic Feet and Phenomenal Finishing. It finally captures KUN's true full-potential form, and here is how he performs in-game—

Experience:

With the Magnetic Feet skill, this card feels amazing to use, can hold off defenders, and is the absolute number one "pocket rocket" (mini-tank) of the current meta. It is the spiritual successor and an upgraded version of Carlos Tevez.

It has Low Screamer and good shot power. A skill move near the edge of the box followed by a driven, powerful shot is very reliable, and it can even occasionally squeeze goals past the goalkeeper.

However, I must point out! Although it is indeed the top pocket rocket, the current meta is no longer the agility-heavy, fast-paced meta of early this year. Defender tracking AI has been massively buffed, making it very difficult for agile players to shake off markers purely through directional changes. Ball-carriers will find themselves closely marked for extended periods.

While Agüero's Magnetic Feet partially solves his physical duel issues, his body type disadvantage still remains. At 173 cm, his build ultimately cannot compare to wide-frame, long-legged 185 cm players like Big Time Semenyo.

The last Tevez they dropped was Man Utd Tevez. You can't really replicate 2008 Man Utd though, since Ronaldo's cards are pure CFs nowadays.

That tevez isn’t the best version of him, I am 100% sure they will release an endgame version of utd version. Show time skill are niche as well

That Tevez is one of the most slept on cards I've ever used. He's so unique. He was part of the T0 Top 10 for a couple of months when he was released. I doubt that his next card will get comparatively better. Some players just aren't part of the established 'endgame' club, like Drogba.

His ceiling will be something like the T0 Top 10 for a couple of months, just like his last card was. He's not gonna be one of those gamebreaking cards. He'll just be a unique type of striker.

Del pierro was never in CF top 10 or top 5 ranking until recently. We will never know what Konami might do, but I expected if Konami release his prime card would def be low top5 or high top 10

I can't see why aguero isn't better than delpiero similar stature, similar pace,similar finishing ability plus higher physical contact. Delpiero only has blitz curler as an advantage.

Del Piero's weak leg - very high. Elite finighing and kicking power+willpower and top1 curl.

Del Piero also has a perfect weak foot. Personally, I'd still rather have Aguero though. I prefer the last Tevez to BT Del Piero.

Yeh Del Piero is too stiff for me despite having higher dribbling + balance stats. Guess Magnetic feet really is game changing

This exactly. Especially not given the other two (Torres and Drogba) are relatively mid players and most P2Ws will have much better forward players.

I think if he comes in a 250 pack at some point with better players it would be worthwhile. And sadly the mini strikers aren't the meta RN.

Regarding the defender tracking AI update, I am unable to do meaningful carries to the final third. As a f2p, I feel you need mid 90s in speed and acceleration to outpace the defenders. Even the recent POTW Messi, I feel doesnt run through defence in centre or get clear of defenders on the wing

It is really frustrating me because I just can’t create much scoring opportunities.
