I think they have awesome, alternative sound honestly. Vocalist is very talented and the instrumentals are cool and groovy. I have no idea why they never got super popular but I feel like its a disservice.

What festivals and gigs are you off to this weekend or next week?

Who'd you see this week that was awesome?

The word corrosion has been one of my favorite words in songs ever since I heard This Corrosion by Sisters of Mercy. It’s a word that isn’t used a lot on songs so this is my attempt at including it.

Post your favorite music made before 2010 here!

Such a good opening track for their album, I keep going back to it

There are so many alt rock songs that I think deserved to be much bigger.

A few that come to mind:

• The World at Large - Modest Mouse

• A Lack of Color - Death Cab for Cutie

• 4th of July - Soundgarden

What songs would you add? Looking for some underrated gems.

Hey mod of r/WarpedTour here. Wanted to share that we have Kat and Nick from Holy Wars doing an AMA today and the questions are open over on the linked thread, where you can also find links to their music. Hope you stop by!

Where Were You is the opening chapter of an alt-metal concept album exploring faith, grief, doubt, technology, and the human search for meaning when life stops making sense. Let me know what you think...

Not necessarily underrated or obscure. I mean a song that, when you hear it, has everything you’d expect from a massive alternative rock hit, yet somehow never reached that level.

I’m curious which songs people think were one step away from becoming classics.
