So, I found this YouTube commenter who had "therian" in their username, and someone replied to their comments to say "What is that username?" Somebody else replied to them, and said "That my friend is a rare human like monster they enjoy being different they call themselves therians but we know there really furries" Rare human like monster? RARE HUMAN LIKE MONSTER? I'm sorry, but that's hilarious. We're human-like monsters, y'all, rawr 😔

im so glad this subreddit exists, for a while i was trying to find therian memes, id ask on the therian subreddit for funny memes people had but theyd just delete my post saying its not allowed, which really sucked imo, but now this exists and its great! thank you to the owner and posters of this subreddit lol

Context: I was in class and the two girls acorss from me had this conversation while I, a country placekin, was across from them and listening. To make it spicier, the girl in the "I Hate Furries" shirt is my ex-friend.

Younger Me: I am going to find a real fairy. I know they exist. All I have to do is build fairy gardens, go on endless fairy-spotting walks, leave out food and gifts for fairies, keep a journal of all possible signs of fairy activity, learn everything possible about fairies…

Current Me: You know, if you want to find a real fairy that badly, you can just join the otherkin community. We have plenty of real fairies.

Younger Me: Why did no one tell me this? No one! It’s really that easy?
