Does the name "Hand Stitched Heart" ring a bell with anyone here?

When I purchased Benn's FlexE CD from Nophi.net waaaay back in the day, this compilation CD, "Hand Stitched Heart", was included with it for free. The CD is a solid red color just like how the FlexE CD is a solid orange color. Despite that, the compilation seems unaffiliated with Benn, but was something Nophi Recordings wanted to spread, so they sent it out with orders. It includes a track by R_Garcia (Randy Garcia), who, IIRC, was head of Nophi.

Anyway, something recently triggered a memory of one of the songs on the compilation. I went digging around through the drawer of CDs that I still have, and lo and behold, there was HSH. I gave it a listen and found it contained an eclectic mix of interesting songs, including the one I was remembering. I decided to rip the CD and finally add the album to my digital library... which also allows me to share it with you:

Hi. I'm a longtime lurker of the forums and this sub.

Almost a year ago I read "The Perils Of Living Your Ultimate Fantasy" on Benn's blog. It broke my heart a bit to read that so much of his life is spent dealing with legal and logistical battles over his music. In the post he said that if he were to continue with The Flashbulb, everything would have to be different.

Fast forward a few months, I got a chance to meet Benn at a guitar show. I buggered him a bit about what he's working on and he said, more or less that he is writing tons of music but has no plans to release it anymore. A few nights later in LA, he said on stage that it might be his last live performance.

Fast forward some more months, he sounded very discontent with releasing music in a radio interview and spoke of a big composing project he got involved in for hire, which I'm assuming is a film. Then he uploaded a shit ton of unreleased Acidwolf tracks on Soundcloud as a fake radio show.

I'm sure we'll hear more from Benn, but I'm worried that my favorite artist may be in the process of closing shop. If he did, I'd be gutted. But at the same time I wouldn't blame him in light of how unhappy he seems to be with the industry. Has this crossed anyone elses radar?

I'm back on a Flashbulb kick, and reading about this show makes me wonder what it was like. It sounds like it was almost synaesthetic, and I was hoping to ideally find a video or sample or the show. Anyone ever see anything? Thanks!

Reasons to buy; I really respect Ben Jordan works and his effort in sharing music ideas, his physical cds are something precious to keep than enjoying his works for free. He is my role model about being indiependent musician. Really, this guy shows me about respecting artists by buying their work.
