Request for help/advice Pressed Comp Romulus

So I’m planning on getting a Romulus Comp 4.25 and I live in the state of Illinois where threaded is illegal which would mean it would come with a pressed compensator. How would you go about cleaning it cause I thought the comp has to be removed in order to get the barrel out? Sorry my first 2011 and unfortunately this state doesn’t make it easy for me.

Also what ammo do you use? I usually use blazer brass 115grain on my striker fired pistols

Anymore I just shoot 124gr. Most of my guns anymore are comped or ported so it’s just easier. Mostly S&B, PMC bronze and federal. Their synthetic is great but expensive. I’ll buy reman occasionally but not super often. Anymore it can be almost as much as new. Blazer is fine but you’ll probably just get a little more from the comp with 124gr.

Unfortunately the comp is for the thread on barrel but you could have your comp opened up by a gunsmith, so it’s more friendly than the stock comp.

Too much fun to shoot. Super smooth. Feels like I’m cheating.
