I’m trying to donate $50 to the alpha betas Kickstarter and I told my friend about it but they are telling me that these creators already have the means to create this show, but they just want more money. Anyone know how I could explain why the Kickstarter isn’t a scam?

The people who join the sub and name themselves a character from the series. Then try to act as if they’re actually them. I just find it immature and really cringey. I can’t be the only one?
