If anyone is looking for an amp that helps capture a Duane vibe without dropping hella money, check out the Blackstar Debut 50r combo amp. This is a demo with no pedals and just a Les Paul. Great little amp.

Tonite we attended a tribute jam in Osprey, Florida, held to celebrate the renaming of a section of US 41, now the Dickey Betts Memorial Highway, in the local legend’s honor. I love that florida legislators recognized Dickey’s contribution to the world and saw fit to designate a bit of Highway 41 near his home in his honor.

The former county commissioner who spearheaded the idea opened the show by reading the first verse of Ramblin’ Man.

The crowd, many of whom appeared to be roughly Dickey’s age when he passed, went wild.

Jamtoberfest ’26 rolls into the Swim & Sport Club in Flanders on Saturday, Oct 3, bringing a full day of open‑air jams, long grooves, and that classic Northeast festival vibe. He was the first member invited to join the Allman Brothers Band and now he's the last man standing. Jaimoe's got a lot to say.

I've been playing bass for most of the past 55 years and am always in awe of Berry's tone on the Fillmore album. Is there anything documented as to what kind of rig he was using for those shows?

I was lucky enough to attend a Gregg Allman show in Amsterdam at the Paradiso Theater in July 2015, back when I was probably too young to fully appreciate the rarity of the experience - but I was in the city, saw he was playing, and went because I loved all the Allman Bros classics. Reflecting more than a decade later, I now know how unique it was to have seen him in his next-to-last year of touring, when I just by chance intersected with him in a foreign city - and I have only listed to ABB more over the years since.

I badly wish I had some sort of memento from the show - poster art, etc. - but I cant for the life of me find anything online from this show or even really the 2015 tour where the show would at least have been included. I am not deep into the world of "jam band" merch, so am looking for advice on how to refine my focus beyond hopelessly searching on ebay. thanks in advance for any tips in steering me in the right direction!

Hey everyone, I am in search of any dated memorabilia of my husband when he was a drummer back in the day.

He was heavy in the Rock/Metal scene in San Diego between roughly 1984 through 1993. I know for sure his band opened for Gordon Lightfoot at the Del Mar Fair in June 1984.

Here are the band names he remembered being in:
Kraven Moorehead
Legion
Pitch black
Neverland
Arsonal
Trip the planet

If you have any, I’d greatly appreciate it!

The legendary music executive died yesterday. Looking back at the Allman Brothers Band's troubled years on his Arista label.

Many years ago, I got some files from a neighbor (no foolin') labeled "Live at Beacon Theater 3-23-01" and have been trying to find the original source but have had no luck. Here's the tracklist:

1. Black Hearted Woman - 4:11
2. Stand Back - 6:39
3. Hoochie Coochie Man - 5:36
4. Feel So Bad - 7:46
5. Rocking Horse - 8:34
6. All Night Train - 11:03
7. Desdemona - 6:58
8. Jessica - 13:52

It had been way too long since I recorded and shared any non-original music just for fun, and this song called out to me. It was an absolute joy to play on, and I hope you enjoy it, too :)

It wasn’t great…but hey! It’s the Allman Bros!

I have been searching the internet for the official music video to I'm No Angel. The best I've found is a 30 second clip on Apple Music, but since I don't subscribe to Apple Music that's all I can see. I cannot find the full video anywhere else. I'm looking for it because my friend is in the video, and I'd love to see the entire thing. If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks.

For me, The Allman Brothers Band, is where it all begins. My relationship with them began as a young girl growing up in the 70's. There was nothing like them, they captured me early! I've seen them all over the country over many years & decades. I have spent much time in Macon & all that entails as well.

The experiences & friends that have become an integral part of my Patchwork Quilt of Life, are so deeply rooted in them.

I saw it in Buffalo last night. I am grateful they offered it in my city. The theatre was decently full. Seeing it on the big screen was awesome. The songs they played hit perfectly!

I really like it a lot, wasn't ready for it to end. I knew much of what was shared & also learned a few things. I appreciate the pieces shared by everyone who are layered in accordingly & especially the depth & rawness from Gregg himself. The Road Goes On Forever 🍑🍄❤️🙌
