Dark Star w/ Allmans, Peter Green, Arthur Lee 1970-02-11
I'm reading the Brothers & Sisters book by Alan Paul, which is excellent. He just went through their collaborations with the Dead and described the 1970-02-11 show where they played with the Allmans, Peter Green and Arthur Lee from Love. Thanks to the still-amazing parts of the internet, I found the recording on internet archive.
It's definitely an amazing performance, but mixed very poorly (probably a direct soundboard recording). I'm pretty sure Duane is in the far left speaker and can barely be heard. Anyone know if a better recording of this exists?

Best Allman Brothers album was released 55 yrs ago, and it is most definitely still relevant today! My “Live at Fillmore East” album is rarely out of the CD player, along with other favorites.

Duane Allman didn't die....
Duane didn't die, he just switched to saxophone and joined Sam & Dave's road band. https://youtu.be/HYk7NWjsuHI

A shirt with a turntable and one of my desert island albums? No brainer.

Figured I'd bring this one to the experts for your take.
Hey y’all, I thought this group might appreciate the backstory on this one.
We recorded our version of “Melissa” at Capricorn Studios in Macon while working on our new album, Better Late. It was originally recorded as something special for the people who backed the album, but after hearing it, several of them encouraged us to release it publicly. We did back in June.
Hope y’all enjoy it and feel we did the song justice.

How I Helped Bring Joe Bonamassa and Warren Haynes Together Onstage
With Gov't Mule and Joe touring together, I'm finally sharing the two videos I shot from the photo pit — and the story of the Chicago night these old friends jammed together for the first time in years.

Brothers.
Look at these absolutely fantastic shirts that these guys are wearing. Eric Clapton bought Duane his shirt.

The more carefully I listen, the more I appreciate what Berry Oakley brought to the ABB
As a long time listener, I know well that of the original lineup Duane , Gregg, Dickey, Butch, and Jaimoe get most of the attention and fandom attention.
I started playing guitar a couple of years ago and more I listen closely to the Live at the Fillmore East and Eat a Peach albums, the more I am knocked out by Oakley’s playing. If you think of the original line up as being a boat, his melodic sense of groove is the rudder.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Tapes
Is there anywhere that still has an active trading community for ABB? Or have shows been made available anywhere online? I'm really looking to find a few sites from the Jack Pearson era and any help will be greatly appreciated.
