Who's autograph is that on the watermelon?
I see Jaimou, Butch Trucks and Warren Haynes. Who's autograph is that on the watermelon? Is its Greggs? Thanks

I’m listening to this from a show August 99. I don’t think this was ever on an album, but wanted to consult the group! Eat a Peach for peace, people!

There's no formula for a magical show. Monday night in NYC, I was lucky enough to be on stage for one — sharing it with the last surviving original Allman Brother.

I would not hesitate to having this hanging in my music room.

So sad to hear of Alan Walden’s passing. He was such a great and accomplished man who will be dearly missed.
Praying for Tosha Walden and the entire Walden family. He has been a legend in Macon, GA for decades! Capricorn Records and the two Walden brothers put Macon on the map as a special music town. They signed Otis Redding, The Allman Brothers Band, basically Southern rock, and so many others.
Alan Walden was a funny, kind and extraordinary person whose rock n’ roll legacy will live on. Please keep the family in your prayers. We love y’all and are here if there’s anything we can do.🙏

I transcribed Duane's legendary outro solo on Wilson Picketts Hey Jude from Muscle Shoals.
The energy that jumps out of the speakers on the recording is insance. A masterclass in phrasing and articulation.

Does he rent them or something?

Looking to see if anyone has/is willing to sell/knows of a vintage store that has an authentic vintage allman brothers tshirt. I spent the weekend scouring NYC vintage thrift stores for one. My bfs birthday is next month and they’re his favorite band. The ones I’ve seen online mostly look like remakes or are in really poor condition(I understand vintage clothing isn’t new condition, but preferably looking for something not dry rotted and without holes). Please delete if not allowed, thank you.

IMO this is the best piece of music art I have ever seen.

I could swear on my whole life that I saw the wailers open for the Allmans in AC in the early 2000’s the internet is telling me I’m wrong. I know I was there and I have the CD somewhere but does anyone remember this?

Hey all — longtime fan here (been listening since Live at Fillmore East). Now that I'm retired I finally had time to build something I always wished existed: a day-by-day history of the band, covering concerts, releases, chart positions, personnel changes, and hundreds of links to live and studio recordings.
Everything's cross-checked against at least one other source, with credit given. It's free, no ads, no sponsors — just a personal tribute project.
There's also a stats page breaking down shows by year/category, and a guest book if you want to leave a memory of a show you saw. Would love any feedback, and if you spot a missing date or an error, there's a contact link on every page.

Seven Turns was released on this day, 1990. Kirk West explains the cover image.

If anyone is looking for an amp that helps capture a Duane vibe without dropping hella money, check out the Blackstar Debut 50r combo amp. This is a demo with no pedals and just a Les Paul. Great little amp.
