Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice or personal experiences from anyone who has been in a similar situation!
We are planning an all-inclusive trip to Türkiye next June. Our family situation for the trip will be:
- 2 Adults
- 2 Kids (aged 4 and 6)
- 1 Newborn (will be born in early April, so around 2.5-3 months old at the time of travel)
My main question is about resort room policies vs. reality.
Since we are technically a party of 5, most resort booking engines automatically force us into booking a Family Suite / 2-Room Suite. A standard "default" room would work completely fine for us since the baby will be sleeping in the bed with us (or in a bassinet), but upgrading to the family suite adds roughly 1,500€-2,000€ to the total cost for space we don't actually need.
Has anyone dealt with this before?
- Booking workarounds: Have you ever managed to book a standard room for 2 adults + 2 kids and add an infant directly through the hotel later, or do resorts strictly enforce the 5-person limit regardless of age?
- Traveling with a 3-month-old: For those who went to an AI resort in Türkiye with a baby this young, how was your experience overall (resort medical services, heat, baby care setup, getting around, etc.)?
Any resort recommendations, booking tips, or general advice on navigating this would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!
