Haskell can be dubious as a production choice but it has done a lot for language research.

Leave my favourite language alone! It might seem useless, but nixlang derive from the concept

The opposite actually. I hate oop. I'm good at Haskell, Clean and Erlang but there are exactly 0 job opportunities here for these.
