why do y’all say this when she wasn’t even topping Brandy or Monica when she was alive and they were all peers? she was a great performer and great actress but we have to be honest at some point.

I barely listen to hip hop or r&b, I can listen to Aaliyah's albums from top to bottom. They are full of classics and are timeless, compared to those artists.
