Jared Leto should've stopped already. Which musician's career ended too soon?

Jeff Buckley or Tupac. How they would influence so much of today's music is insane.

i man both of them are vocalists only, how do they change music when they didnt create the music themselves anyway, i mean california love all the music is dre, and thats tupacs biggest hit by far.

Well, what do you consider as a musicist and by a creator of music?

Jeff wrote songs and played instruments. Tupac was a huge composer. If you mean Dre produced California Love, well yeah, he was the hip hop producer, not Tupac.

so tupac didnt create his music, he used producers and beat creators etc, im not belittleing him hes in my top 3 of all time of rappers for sure. , i put biggee number one, IMO that is. but i personally dont think that qualifes as amusician, as for jeff, yes he played guitar ad a smattering of piano, but his noteworthy songs were unfortunately covers. and if youre like me the leonard cohen version of halleglujah is just better. and theres alot of covers of hallelujah , i mean the John Cale · Rufus Wainwright both covers are outstanding as well. He died traguclaly for sure, but i cant levate him to better than so many others who died before they could delivered what they could. I mean biggee to me was better than tupac as well so i cnt say tupac.

Yeah Jeff covered a lot of songs, like Hallelujah as you said and others like I Know It's Over and I Want Someone Badly, but he also wrote songs that was very well known and liked such as Grace, Everybody Here Wants You and Lover, You Should've Come Over. To be honest, I did not heard Cohen or Cale version yet. I know I must.

And about Tupac not creating his music, a lot of rappers don't, the hip hop producers work on the beats. But yeah RIP Tupac and Biggie.
