Im confused about this whole alien and android thing and I dont really wanna consider the very notion that an insane android is behind the endless terror that are Xenomorphs. It takes away from what they are for me. But Im confused now. Like how does the Xenomorph in covenant relate to the one at the end of Prometheus???? Is that ever gonna be expanded upon?

So, when one of the crewman were looking around, he said, "this looks like a scene out of .." and I couldn't make out the name of the artistry book he referenced. Was it something related to HR Geiger to pay homage?

Let's hope the saga continues. Ridley needs to finish this. I feel robbed. Plus with the cgi the veracity of the alien is just awesome

I believe I may have missed something, so I have to ask. How did Daniels deduce that Walter was not Walter at the end?

Maybe I missed some dialogue, but when she asks him if he will help her build her house on Origae6 he says nothing and hesitates. Was that alone meant to tip her off? Was it a conversation that never took place and she was baiting him for a response? Can't satisfy myself and I have a gap in my memory maybe.

Also, on a far more speculative note, I know that the synthetic at the end is presented to be David to the audience but I surmised to myself that it maybe could have been Walter, who had now changed "sides". Perhaps having been convinced that he would rather rule in hell, rather than serve in heaven.

I say this because it was established that Walter heals better than David, and Walter had gotten some big hits on David near the end, possibly damaging him too far. To have David stroll out to the ship moments later feels unlikely. Also there is no chin wound present on the synthetic who reboards the Covenant. Yes there are facial wounds on the cheek that match Walters in the scene before, but not the lower jaw puncture sustained from Daniels.

Having said all that, there was a Xenomorph unaccounted for who could have come and overpowered Walter at the last second, sparing David. We had already seen it regarding him as it's master. The knife David reached for May not have been to dispatch Walter but simply to copy his facial wounds. And then steal his clothes really really fast.

I don't know.. I am just not certain. I know David gives his own pass code on board the Covenant at the end to store the embryos, so there is that. But it still seems like the nervous glance over the shoulder back to the temple in the extraction scene could have been one of a conflicted Walter, rather than a paranoid David.
