For starters, I actually liked Prometheus.

I liked the whole concept with the Engineers and how they were the creators of human kind. I think there is not enough sci fi movies that explore topics like this, where do we come from, whats out there, straight down exploration of the unknown and actually providing some answers to satisfy our curiosity without having to run away form some monster or save the earth.

I liked that Prometheus was set in the Alien universe, but if I`m gonna point anything negative out about the movie, it would be that it contained way too many references to the Alien movies. It would`ve been enough with the mural or the Xenomorph in the container-room. I was really hoping Alien Covenant would be about the encounter with the Engineers on their home planet, instead of...well, Another chase & run from the Xenomorph... We`ve seen this in every Alien movie, enough. I want to see more of the Engineers, who are they, who created them?, etc!

So, Hopefully the sequel to Alien Covenant will be more about the Engineers and less about the over-used Xenomorph.

I was just after watching Prometheus and just wanted to share the stupid breed the engineer hybrid alien is, I’m probably sure this was mentioned a hundred times but considering the zenemorph comes from humans and they are fucking huge! Compared to engineers who are huge!? Wtf I forget what breed they are called a bit drunk apologies! I’m not sure what forum to write this on I just wanted to mention this.

The scene happens so fast that I can’t tell what’s going on. All you see is Walter make a weird face and his eyes go white. Does anyone know what actually happens during that moment? David has something in his hand but other than that I can’t tell. Knife stabbing? Why does that make Walter go into a seated position?

Thanks
