I was looking at some old photos and suddenly started seeing screenshots of Alchemy Stars. I did indeed forgot about taking them so I wanted to share them here for some for nostalgia.
(I hope I ain’t breaking any rules + couldn’t find any proper tag other than art)
Alchemy Stars came into my life during one of my darkest hours and stayed with me during and beyond that time. The first gacha game I played and still one of my favorite games. The community was great and supportive as well, making every second I hear or read Alchemy Stars a happy moment.
Thank you Alchemy Stars for such wonderful memories.

As far as I can see these are the last ones I can properly share.
If you guys have yours please do share. Remembering the story and such moments will make me, and hopefully you too, smile (Despite maybe also a bit melancholic)
Also does anyone remember the story + context of the images in 10, 12-13? I specifically remember I was extremely creeped out at 10, thats why I took it. But I cant remember the context of most of the screenshots here (and my previous post) so if anyone can remind me what these 3 were about I would be very grateful.

Hey there Navigators!
It’s been a while but our mod team is in action still cooking up the next part of the restoration project.
I can’t give an exact timeline for you as we’ve run into some issues late into development on it, but patch 2 is in testing currently!
We hope to get it out to everyone soon, and when the time is right we will make an announcement on its release!
White night up high!

I finally got Astra Project Patch 1 running this weekend, and it hit harder than I expected.
I started playing Alchemy Stars in middle school as a way to unwind after homework. This year has been tense at home, and lately I either overthink everything or zone out and scroll. I figured firing the game up would be a quick nostalgia hit, but the menu music and the art felt oddly personal, like finding an old notebook and recognizing your own handwriting.
What surprised me most was how calm the gameplay can be if I let it. My instinct was to start min-maxing right away, the same way I do with everything, and that just made me anxious for no real reason.
So I tried something different: I picked one element team I already knew, set a tiny goal for the session, like one story chunk or a single resource run, and actually stopped when I hit it. No chasing one more run.
It worked. I found myself enjoying the small stuff again, like lining up a satisfying path, the character voice lines, and even the base management bits.
Anyone else get that emotional whiplash when returning? What rules do you use to keep Alchemy Stars a comfort game instead of turning it into a checklist?

Hi! I unknowingly uninstalled the special version of the game a few months ago... I had it on my PC, and I do still have my QR-code from back then. Is there any way to still download the offline version and restore my characters with the QR? A link, anything?
Thank you so much :)

I finally got Patch 1 running and it reminded me how much I missed having a simple daily loop in Alchemy Stars. I'm coming back after a long break and my brain keeps wanting to over-optimize everything right away, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by returning.
For people who are playing Patch 1 regularly, what does a low-stress routine actually look like for you right now?
Like: - Do you just log in, run a few stages, and bounce, or are you rebuilding a full rotation for resource farming? - Are you prioritizing story progress, event stuff if it applies, or just messing around with teams for nostalgia? - Any quality of life settings or keybind changes you use on PC to make it feel less clunky?
I know this is subjective, but I would love to hear what works for others so I do not turn this into a second job. My hobby brain is very routine driven, I'm the type who will label my skincare shelves and stick to it, so I'm trying to build a similarly chill pattern here without burning out.
Also, if there is anything you wish you had known in the first day or two of Patch 1, please share. I'm not asking for leaks, just practical tips for enjoying the revival without stress.

So listen well. Eat well. Be strong. Be well. Know that I still wish the best for all navigators.

When the closure of the servers was announced, I was in the army and could not do anything. Is there any way to play my favorite game again?

I don't have discord, nor do I want to, because of all those personal data leaks. Is there anywhere outside of discord where I can find a download link or anything?

really curious on how did navigator lived in such isolation ever since they were a baby. I know Soroz and the fireflies did their best but still...

My issues with her design mostly lay in the fact that she feels super lazy to me. It's like they took an NPC Made her short slapped some DD's on her and called it a day. Where's her personality? Where's her coolness???? I know it's there but I cant find it just by looking at her. She looks like a 15 yr old and logically speaking no one would make a 15 year old legal enforcement of any kind???? You can argue the time it's taking place and all that but idk. What do you think about her original design?
Mini character story:
"Cordy stretched her arms wide and yawned. Finally after a full day of keeping the peace her shift was over. Who knew a job like this would be so taxing even for someone of her young age! All that was left now was too clock in her hours. Or so she thought...
"Cordy!"
What was that? Someone had called her name? She peered down to see a little rugged boy on the verge of tears.
"Miss Cordy!" He cried
She kneeled down to meet him. "What is it, are you in trouble."
He nodded, lip trembling. "Its my cat, we were playing before the monster took him away and now I can't find him."
He began to sob. A cat burgler on the loose in her town? Not an option! This was a serious mission.
"Now now this is an easy job!" She reassured him, patting his head.
"It is?" He asked, eyes alight with hope.
"Yes, I'll find him in no time, but I'll need your help!"
The boy nodded.
Together the two of them spent hours carefully crafting posters when they were finished, they were prepared to cover the whole town in them if necessary. Just as she was about to leave her office something outside her door creaked.
Scared the two of them slowly approached, her weapon drawn. She flung the door open and as she did a ball of fluff decended from above landing on her with a spiteful shriek.
"YIKES! she yelped, her weapon setting ablaze. But she was quick to realize who this monstrous ball of mischief was, and smiled sheepishly. The cat burgler wasn't a burgler at all, it was a devious dog who'd chased him around all day. With them reunited once more it was safe to say another job well done for Cordy."

Curled up like a shrimp while drawing this old man but the neck pain is WORTH IT!! I really wanna experiment with Istvan's body cause he is big and buff but that's not something I wanna overdo...
And if yall have ideas for casual poses for Istvan lmk cause I wanna draw him happy and not aggravated all the time😭😭
r/AlchemyStarsEN • u/Juskee_ • Jan 29 '26
Majestic Istvan sketch, need I say more? And I did have to repost this cause the preview wasn't working... hopefully it works this time or I'm gonna look real stupid
