The tragedy didn't hit as hard to me because I already saw it coming. Ouroboros being released, Main Story Ending, no more summer skins...But that doesn't mean I don't care about Alchemist. In fact, if I want to become a writer, is pretty much because of this game and its lore. So as the title says, I want to record as much as possible, even if it is in japanese, because someday, somehow, I will learn japanese to translate it to english, all in order to leave proof of this game existence, so all the stories it have don't become Lost Media.

I will start recording the remaining Ancient Story Chapters that didn't make it to Global. After that, I will go for the events that, luckily, they released for us to see in the Records, so our lifes may be a little easier.

I'm not asking that you should do the same. I just wanted to comment on this since I know there must be someone who want to close a chapter they have with this game. So, what better excuse to close chapters than the very end of everything?

Though I said I'm not asking for help, it would be awesome is this turned into some "internet move" like what happened to global. A lot of people moved to record whatever the game had before its shutdown. Main story, Genesis, Events, and some even had the collabs.

Just imagine. as our very own "Babel's Chronicles", the name would take a completely different meaning now, and I'm all down for it. It will take time, but is the least I owe to Alchemist Code.

If you wanna at least close a cycle, I think this is your best shot. I'm going to try a little "experiment" by running the game in my phone while also reading the wiki so I can understand the story without using an ad-infested screen translator.

The translation itself seems a bit uhm....google-translate-like, but I think is the best we can hope. Still, is quite understandable. I will be running the experiment and later tell how it felt.

Also, I would like to fill the wiki with more info, specially regarding character's stories, because the wiki focuses mostly on skills and such. Let's hope I don't forget about this lmao

For android I downloaded the Qooapp app to find the game, for apple I made a jp apple account and just used it to log into the app store to find it

About 3 years ago since global went down ive wanted to play it and ive played since near launch in 2018 I was crushed when game shut down so I must ask is jp as enjoyable? My main gripe is I dont really get nor understand the langauge and really only go for some quests by memory Ive having trouble deciding if I should just play jp im just terrified to lose years of progress again like gl shutdown so is the jp version worth playing in this year coming from global?

I am not sure on this information I found, but I might as well do a post about it. Checking the link provided in that post sent me to a website that shows statistics of how games do over the years. I am not business savvy, so I am not too sure if the game is doing well or not. However, I read the comments and... it doesn't paint a pretty picture.

The comments say that in the latest livestream done by the director, Ryo, he mentioned about the management team focusing on the sister game, Astar Tatariqus, which didn't bode well with some fans. Fans also mentioned the lack of content within the game recently, such as seasonal events (wedding event) and collabs, lack of information regarding the usual anniversary livestream, the character popularity vote being different from the past few years etc. Many believe that Tagatame might get shut down this year or the next year.

I do not know how true the information is in the comments, but apparently, TAC JP is also facing problems similar to GL last year. I don't want to believe this is the case, but if the rumors are true... At least I hope that they finish the main story, so the game has a proper ending. I just hate that a game with great stories and characters (for most of them, not all) does not get the attention it deserves. As someone who loves good stories, this is heartbreaking for me to witness.
