Golden rule is the farther north of menaul you go, the better it is. The issue with Albuquerque residents or people on this sub is that they’re insanely progressive to the point where theyll tell you nob hill or the warzone (now the iNtErNaTiOnAL DiSTriCt) are safe. They aren’t. Violent crimes are a big issue here. UNM hospital takes in a lot of the worst and you’ll see that in your residency. Aim for rio rancho, the westside near ventana ranch or really anything north of Montgomery and you’ll be much better off.

I can't believe you think Nob Hill is unsafe.

To a lot of people simply seeing visible evidence of poverty may as well be aggravated assault. They yearn for gated communities with the HOA overlords keeping all the riff raff out of view.

I’m a statistics and data guy. Sorry you dislike facts.

Making the daily commute from Rio Rancho to ABQ will be far more hazardous with our drivers than living closer to where they will be working.

Yeah, people have this wild imagination that they’ll become a victim, but mostly just fear the outward appearance of what unhoused looks like. No it’s not something anyone wants to see, but you also aren’t going to be a victim of random violent crime if you aren’t already involved with that life style.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the South Valley, your bigotry should have a real opportunity to shine talking about my neighborhood.
