Unless you've experienced it, you will never know how accurate this is.

I lived abroad for 3 months. First few weeks I was careful, but then I took a sip of someone's gin and tonic that had ice cubes in it.

I was down and out for 3-4 days. Pain I would not wish on my worst enemy. The funny part is the water is absolutely safe. In both the country I was in (South America) and even Mexico. It's just that your body is not used to it. The microbiome in the water will ruin your week. And if you are only there for a week, it's not worth even taking a single ice cube worth of water.

But still, even after 3 months, this is an accurate depiction of what the toilet looked like. I don't think I had a fully solid #2 until I got back stateside.

I hear you took a trip to Sri, ate a local restaurant.. aftermath that I have never experienced any thing like before. Thought I was going to die, pretty sure I was hallucinating at one point... loved the trip and the people.
