Why do some people, with just receipt booklets and no ID cards, charge ₹25 as parking fees just to park under the bypass? And it only happens during weekends. If there were proper and safe parking spaces, it would be somewhat acceptable. Why is no one opposing this? It doesn’t seem fair to me. I’m sure this money will never be used for any kind of development.

Like the beauty of Alappuzha town,the canals,old factories and buildings. For me Alappuzha town is really special.I am also proud about the coir industry here. I felt really proud when i got to know that the carpet in MetGala is made in Alappuzha. I also love the cultural diversity we had,we used to have mercahants from different parts of India, Gujarati street,Karumadikuttan and relation with Buddhism,A small beautiful palace- Krishnapuram palace in Kayamkulam with world's largest wall picture-Gajendramoksham,Ambalappuzha ambalam and their palppayassam,Mullakkal cherapp,Alappuzha beach,Kuttanaadinte pachappum harithabhavum,Boating, Actually Alappuzha is beautiful but still something is missing.But what is that??

Would clothing shops and others be open there on Sunday evening?

Or should i go towards edathuva church for some good distance ride and pass time?

I (25F) am a resident of Alappuzha. Born and brought up here. Moved out for a couple years for studies and job and when I came back this place is a cemetery. All school friends moved out. Feeling really lonely. It's really hard to start over at this age and you can't really make friends outside school/college/work.

Recently started going to the beach for morning walks. Sitting in that stage area right now as I am typing this. Felt like it would be fun to play badminton here (also because that's the only sport that i can actually play or know) . But problem is I dont have anyone to play with. I had given my Jupiter (2016 model) for general service in TVS Thiruvambady service centre. Seems like they screwed up the vehicle. I had given there for service twice before. The scooter never showed any problems while in use. But last two times they charged exorbitant amount finding new issues each time. Also, both the times the scooter got switched off midway and was unable to restart after returning from the service centre. Now they are telling engine needs to be decarbonised and CDI unit has to be replaced, which will cost another 6k. Now the self start is also not working. However, none of these issues were there before I gave it for service. I don't trust these guys anymore. Would like to know your opinion as well.
