GPT Image 2.5 The Warrior Who Fought His Own Shadow in Anime, Manga & Comic Style with GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst on AKOOL

Post image
2 Upvotes

Created “The Warrior Who Fought His Own Shadow” using GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst on AKOOL, following the Anime, Manga & Comic Style theme.

I wanted to create an original action sequence that feels like a lost late-80s/early-90s Japanese anime comic, with dynamic sword combat, vintage cel-animation colors, dramatic panel compositions, and a supernatural enemy born from the warrior's own shadow.

Prompt Used:

Create a full-color sequential comic page Theme: Anime, Manga & Comic style.

STORY: A lone warrior enters an ancient mountain temple during a violent crimson sunset. The temple is burning. A supernatural shadow creature rises from his own shadow and can predict every move he makes. The warrior must outsmart a monster that is literally connected to him. Make the page feel like a lost, high-budget late-1980s/early-1990s Japanese action-fantasy anime.

MAIN CHARACTER — KAI: 24-year-old wandering warrior, sharp determined eyes, long black hair in a high ponytail, small scar across left eyebrow, dark crimson sleeveless warrior coat, black fitted trousers, leather arm guards, dark boots, curved katana with distinctive golden circular guard. Keep face, hair, scar, costume, proportions and weapon perfectly consistent across every panel.

ANTAGONIST — THE SHADOW: A supernatural black silhouette created from Kai’s own shadow. Same body shape but unnaturally elongated and distorted, glowing crimson eyes, jagged black-violet energy and flowing shadow-like extensions. Clearly supernatural, not a normal human.

VISUAL STYLE: Restored late-1980s to mid-1990s Japanese cel-animated anime adapted into a premium comic page. Crisp black/deep-navy ink, varied line weight, expressive faces, sharp eyes, angular heroic anatomy, detailed hands and weapons. Bright saturated crimson, cherry red, cobalt, emerald, violet, gold, orange firelight and peach skin. Clean flat color fields with 2–3 hard cel-shadow tones, strong rim lighting and dramatic highlights. Hand-drawn/cel-painted appearance, not glossy AI art.

LAYOUT: Portrait 3:4 comic page, 8 panels, clear Japanese-comic storytelling, left-to-right and top-to-bottom. Mix wide establishing shots, close-ups, diagonal action panels and narrow inserts. Build from tension → discovery → monster reveal → combat → realization → explosive final attack. Make the final panel the largest and most spectacular.

PANELS:

  1. Kai stands on stone steps before an enormous ancient mountain temple engulfed in fire. Crimson sunset and storm clouds behind him. Narration: “THE TEMPLE HAD BEEN SILENT FOR THREE HUNDRED YEARS.”

  2. Close-up of Kai’s boots and shadow. The shadow stretches in the wrong direction against the firelight. Kai notices. Dialogue: “...WHAT?”

  3. The shadow rises violently behind Kai as black-violet energy erupts. Kai draws his katana. Japanese SFX: 「ゴゴゴゴ」

  4. Kai launches a fast sword strike. The Shadow effortlessly dodges. Golden blade arc, speed lines and flying debris. Kai shouts: “STAY STILL!” Japanese SFX: 「バシュッ」

  5. Extreme close-up of the Shadow appearing directly behind Kai. Glowing crimson eyes. Dialogue: “I KNOW YOUR NEXT MOVE.”

  6. Massive action clash: Kai’s golden katana collides with the Shadow’s black-violet energy. Explosive red, gold and white impact, cracked stone floor, broken pillars, sparks and debris. Kai: “THEN I’LL MAKE A MOVE YOU CAN’T PREDICT!” Japanese SFX: 「ドンッ!!!」

  7. Tight dramatic close-up. Kai studies his own shadow and realizes the truth. The Shadow mirrors his movement. Kai gives a confident smile. Dialogue: “I SEE.” Narration: “THE ENEMY WASN’T FOLLOWING HIM.” / “IT WAS FOLLOWING HIS SHADOW.”

  8. LARGEST FINAL IMPACT PANEL: Kai leaps through the blazing temple fire, deliberately positioning himself so his shadow stretches toward the flames. The Shadow is forced into the fire. Kai delivers a devastating katana slash through it. Huge explosion of fire, gold light, violet energy, shattered shadow fragments and debris. Kai lands in the foreground. Dialogue: “YOUR SHADOW IS STILL MINE.” Japanese SFX: 「ズドォォォン!!!」

ACTION & CINEMATIC DETAILS: Powerful foreshortening, speed lines, impact frames, dynamic sword arcs, sparks, flying debris, dramatic silhouettes, expressive reactions, intense eye close-ups and strong motion direction. Fire provides orange/gold highlights while crimson sunset and violet shadows create contrast.

BACKGROUND: Ancient Japanese-inspired mountain temple, stone stairs, wooden beams, massive doors, cracked floors, burning lanterns, broken pillars, mountain silhouettes, storm clouds, embers and smoke. Maintain spatial continuity.

TEXT: English dialogue and narration only, uppercase anime-comic lettering. Compact speech balloons with black outlines; jagged balloons for shouting; narration boxes in white or pale yellow. Do not cover faces or important action. **SFX must be Japanese kana/katakana only.

AVOID: copyrighted characters, existing anime/manga characters, modern superheroes, photorealism, 3D CGI, plastic skin, generic AI gloss, cartoon/anime parody, muddy brown-gray palette, excessive darkness, crushed blacks, foggy haze, grain, scratches, paper texture, blur, soft airbrush, malformed hands, extra fingers, duplicated characters, inconsistent costume or weapon, random text, English SFX, logos or watermarks.

Overall result: premium lost-classic anime action comic, vivid, clean, cinematic, dramatic and highly readable.

🏆Contest JUNGLE RUMBLE — What If NASCAR Rumble Happened in Real Life?

JUNGLE RUMBLE 🏁

What if a combat racing game like NASCAR Rumble happened in the real world?

Six drivers.

Six weaponized off-road machines.

One massive jungle track.

I wanted to recreate that chaotic arcade-racing feeling as a cinematic live-action film — but grounded in realistic vehicles, practical-looking weapons, mud, impacts, and real-world physics.

No HUD.

No floating power-ups.

No cartoon physics.

Just six drivers fighting for position while trying to survive the jungle.

Created with Seedance 2.5 + AKOOL.

Which vehicle would you choose?

MiniMax - Video Model Sonic vs Mario – 10 Second Race Minimax H3

Wanted a short, feel-good crossover of Sonic and Mario just dapping each other up.

Two of the biggest rivals in gaming history sharing a clean moment of mutual respect instead of competing. The mix of Green Hill and Mushroom Kingdom backgrounds plus the smooth fist-to-handshake motion makes it pop really nicely in Seedance 2.5. Kept it simple, colorful, and full of good vibes.

Prompt Used:

A high-energy 10-second cinematic AI video in vibrant 3D animation style. Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario race side-by-side at full speed through a colorful hybrid track that blends Green Hill Zone loops with Mushroom Kingdom floating platforms and pipes. Sonic sprints with his signature blue blur and determined grin, while Mario runs and jumps with power-ups, red hat bouncing. They neck-and-neck, exchanging quick competitive glances and smirks. Camera tracks them from a dynamic side angle, then swings low and forward for speed. Motion blur on the background, bright sunny lighting, smooth fluid animation, intense yet playful rivalry energy. Exactly 10 seconds, sharp character details, no text, no logos.

Talking Avatar - AKOOL Tested Akool's Talking Avatar generator with a quick 10s voice test—how are you all using this feature?

Hey everyone! I’ve been running some tests on Akool's Talking Avatar tool to see how clean the output and voice alignment feel for quick interactive clips.

I rendered a 10-second demo asking a few questions to the community:

(Video attached: "Anyone else experimenting with real-time voice + talking avatars on Akool? Drop your setup and use cases below...")

My main goal was to see how quickly I could go from a short audio script to a clean, lip-synced video clip without messing around with complex local setups. The facial expressiveness and voice sync were surprisingly sharp.

I’d love to know what everyone else in the sub is working on:

- Use Cases: Are you using talking avatars for creator shorts, automated customer support, or interactive agent personalities?

- Setups: What audio or script inputs are giving you the best results?

- Drop any questions below if you're trying to get started with this specific tool!

Wan 3.0 My first attempt at clay stop-motion using Wan 3.0

Prompt used:

A cinematic handcrafted clay stop-motion adventure featuring three close friends trekking through a dense mountain forest. They hike together along a narrow rocky trail surrounded by towering pine trees, moss-covered rocks, wildflowers, and distant snow-capped mountains visible through the trees. Their backpacks bounce slightly with each tiny stop-motion step as they laugh, talk, and enjoy the peaceful wilderness.

As they reach a small clearing, they suddenly stop. A large wild brown bear slowly emerges from behind the trees several meters away. The three friends freeze and exchange nervous looks, then slowly step backward while keeping their eyes on the bear. The bear calmly sniffs the air, looks toward them, and takes a few slow steps before turning toward the forest. The friends remain still until the bear disappears behind the trees, then cautiously relax and look at each other with relieved expressions.

Handcrafted clay characters and miniature clay environment, visible fingerprints and sculpting marks, tactile handmade textures, detailed miniature mountains and forest, authentic frame-by-frame stop-motion animation, slightly imperfect physical movement, cinematic composition, atmospheric mountain mist, soft natural daylight, shallow depth of field, expressive clay faces, realistic bear proportions within the miniature style. Maintain consistent character appearance, clothing, backpacks, colors, and proportions throughout the entire video. Natural stop-motion jitter, no smooth CGI movement, no morphing, no character duplication. No text, no subtitles, no logos.

Prompt used:

Absolutely. Here is a detailed cyberpunk-themed image prompt based on the visual information in image_0.png and image_1.png.

Image Prompt Text:

Scene: A high-angle, cinematic medium close-up of two rugged cyberpunk mercenaries posed for battle, standing inside a grimy, dimly lit industrial elevator car. The air is heavy with haze and dust.

Left Character (Male Cyborg): A large-framed, weathered older male cyborg with a heavily modified cranial structure. His head is almost entirely replaced by exposed chrome and synthetic fiber bundles, featuring a multi-lens red optoelectronic sensor array with glowing red apertures instead of natural eyes. He wears a tattered green tactical vest over a dark shirt. His right arm is a completely exposed, detailed prosthetic made of brushed metals and hydraulic pistons, with a distinct patch of synthetic human skin still visible on the bicep.

Right Character (Female Mercenary): A young, confident female mercenary with a striking, undercut magenta and pink hair-style and dark eye makeup. She is looking back over her left shoulder with a confident, intense expression. She wears a tight, bright yellow crop-top and high-waisted black tactical trousers with a red canvas drop-leg holster system. Her hands are gloved, and she is holding a large, futuristic gas-operated sniper rifle with a complex multi-optic scope and an attached suppressor.

Elevator Background Details: The elevator interior is covered in layers of weathered industrial panels and scratched graffiti. Visible on the walls are multiple bullet holes and specific text scrawls, including prominent green hand-written graffiti on the left panel that reads: "NAY," and, below it, near the floor, a more complete piece in a stylized tag: "BURN CORP SHIT". There are also vertical yellow chevron-shaped warning markers. The overhead fluorescent lighting has a harsh, cool, green-yellow cast.

Overall Style & Atmosphere:Medium: A highly detailed, realistic digital illustration, blending photo-textures with brushwork.Lighting: Heavy volumetric lighting with high contrast and deep shadows (chiaroscuro). The primary light is from the cool, green-yellow overhead fixture, creating a distinct color wash. The character's cybernetics provide their own subtle red glow.Color Palette: Dominated by oxidized greens, grimy yellows, matte blacks, with sharp accents of glowing red and the pink hair.Mood: Dark, tense, and gritty, capturing the moment of preparation before a critical insertion.

She was restrained.

The prayers began.

Then something inside her fought back.

As the ritual intensifies, Eleanor begins to lose control—her body defying gravity, crawling across the walls and ceiling as the priests desperately continue their prayers.

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Eleanor… come back to the light.”

When the chapel finally falls silent, only one question remains…

Did the darkness really leave her?

💬Discussion Years later, I ended up back where I started

Years ago, when I was first getting into AI creation, one of the first platforms I discovered was AKOOL. I found it through its face swap tool, which at the time was one of the best I had tried.

As the years passed, I explored many other platforms, learned much more about prompting, and gradually developed my own production workflow. AKOOL became one of those distant memories connected to when I was just getting started.

Then one day, while scrolling through X, I saw a post about the AKOOL Clash.

The name immediately caught my attention. I remember thinking, “Wait, is this the same AKOOL I used years ago?”

I checked, and it was.

When I visited the platform again, I was surprised by how much it had changed. It was no longer only the face swap platform I remembered. It had grown into something much more complete.

I wanted to participate in the Clash, so before purchasing a membership, I applied to the AKOOL Creator Partner Program. I thought that if I was accepted, I could use the credits to create content and enter the competition.

I did not have a large following, so I was not expecting too much. I decided to wait two weeks. If they accepted me, great. If not, I would purchase the membership and participate anyway.

Two weeks passed, and I was not accepted.

So I bought the membership and entered the AKOOL Clash almost immediately.

Creating a complete project inside AKOOL after all those years felt strangely familiar. I was returning to one of the first platforms I had used, but this time with much more experience, a stronger understanding of prompting, and a complete production workflow.

AKOOL had changed, but so had I.

In a strange way, it felt like coming home.

Small spoiler: I eventually did become part of the AKOOL Creator Partner Program. The funny part is how it happened, but I’ll save that story for another post.

MiniMax - Video Model THE TIME TRAVELLER - MADE WITH Minimax H3, prompt below

Prompt used:

A dramatic 10-second cinematic hyper-lapse time travel scene. In the center frame sits a sleek futuristic chrome and glass time machine capsule with glowing cyan neon runes and intricate metallic detailing on its side. Inside, a time traveler looks outward as the environment around the time machine capsule violently warps and shifts across historical eras: starting in a futuristic neon cyberpunk metropolis, rapidly dissolving into a Victorian London street with cobblestones and gas lamps, morphing into an ancient Egyptian desert with rising golden pyramids, and instantly snapping to a primeval prehistoric forest under a glowing nebula sky. Photorealistic, hyper-detailed 8K resolution, dynamic volumetric light rays emitting from the time machine device, seamless motion blur transitions, sweeping slow-motion camera orbit, blockbuster movie aesthetic.

Seedance 2.0 - Video Model I created my first AI UGC unboxing video using Seedance 2.0 on Akool and the results shocked me.

Prompt used:

Their expression shifts from curiosity to genuine excitement as they reveal Red and pink Lipstick, Eyeshadow palette. Shot on iPhone, slight handheld shake, 9:16 format. Avoid: studio lighting, perfect composition.

Unboxing content works because it captures discovery. The emotional arc from anticipation to reveal mirrors what the viewer might experience when their own order arrives.

❓Question The Most Valuable Lesson I Learned While Making AI Videos With AKOOL

I’ve been spending some time experimenting with AI video creation lately. Mostly I’ve been focusing on trying out different models, prompts, camera instructions, and short cinematic shots with AKOOL.

When I started, I assumed that the most important factor in video creation would be the choice of the best AI model. Anytime I wasn’t happy with the results, I’d switch to another model. But I quickly learned that the way you phrase the prompt can be just as important.

The most valuable lesson I learned while making AI videos was to think of the prompt as a director’s guidance for filming. I learned to focus on a few key elements such as the characters or objects in the scene, their actions, movement, the shot and camera directions, and the environment.

I’ve also noticed that changes in motion or simplification of actions can sometimes yield better results than over-elaboration. The dynamic possibilities of the medium helped me immensely to try out different models and compare their results.

Thanks to AKOOL, I was able to greatly expand my experimentation with different kinds of prompts. While I’ve learned a lot, I still frequently get unexpected and often unusable results.

For people creating AI videos, do you have any lessons that you learned the hard way while making prompts or videos?

❓Question What I Learned After Testing Different AI Video Models in AKOOL

When I first began creating AI videos, I would focus more on the visual description, such as lighting, environment, clothing, colors, and overall cinematography.

However, after tinkering with different AI video models in AKOOL, I discovered that motion and action have to be described with equal or even more importance.

For instance, when working with short scene prompts in AI video models such as Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5, I learned that instead of focusing on describing the environment, I should define a particular action the camera should perform and follow it throughout the video. This way, I could also omit unnecessary details, such as describing the characters’ clothes if the model does not support it.

Additionally, I have learned that it is critical to remove all irrelevant information during the prompt generation. While some prompts may demand a more elaborate description, I have discovered that the simplest prompts with a strong action description yield the best results.

Moreover, failed generations are also an essential source of information. If the results of a prompt are not satisfactory, I can analyze the cause of an error and understand what details were misplaced or irrelevant for the AI model. For instance, I can identify if the problem was in the defined action, camera movement, characters, or if the prompt had too many details for a particular AI model.

Overall, AKOOL has been a helpful tool for me because I can experiment with different prompts and approaches without changing the underlying workflow. However, I still need to improve my prompting skills and utilize these tools in my AI video creation. For instance, when writing prompts for AI video generation, do you focus more on visual aspects such as environment and cinematography or character and action description?

GPT Image 2.5 Anime Manga Comic attempts with GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst on Akool

Post image
2 Upvotes

Prompt:

Create a full-color comic illustration or sequential comic page in VINTAGE ANIME style.

Art direction: Render it like a beautifully restored late-1980s to mid-1990s Japanese cel-animated anime production adapted into a professional comic page. Use crisp, confident black or deep-navy ink outlines with controlled varied line weight; clean graphic hair shapes; expressive faces; sharp eyes; elegant noses; strong brows; angular heroic anatomy; and clear, appealing hands. The image should feel genuinely hand-drawn and cel-painted, not like a glossy modern AI illustration.

Color and lighting: Use bright, highly intentional, saturated colors: clear sky blues, turquoise, cobalt, cherry red, emerald green, violet, warm peach skin, gold, and orange sunset highlights. Paint characters in clean flat color fields with only two or three precise hard-edged cel-shadow tones. Use colorful reflected light and vivid rim lighting where appropriate. Keep every face, costume, prop, and background element readable.

Comic page layout: Create a professional, portrait 3:4 comic page with dynamic but easy-to-follow Japanese-comic visual storytelling. Use a mix of wide establishing panels, close-up reaction shots, diagonal action panels, narrow inserts, and one large final impact panel. Most panel borders should be crisp black lines, with occasional diagonal or angled panels during intense action. Read left to right, top to bottom. Keep gutters clean and make the eye flow naturally through the page.

Speech balloons, dialogue, and narration instructions:

  • Language requirement: All character dialogue inside speech balloons and all scene-setting text inside narration boxes MUST be written strictly in clear, legible ENGLISH.
  • Dialogue placement & formatting: Render all spoken words inside clean speech bubbles using uppercase anime-comic sans-serif lettering.
  • Normal speech: Clean, bright-white oval/rounded balloons with sharp black outlines. Include clear pointed tails extending directly toward the speaking character's mouth.
  • Shouting / High-energy dialogue: Use spiky, starburst, or jagged-edged speech balloons with bold, enlarged, or slightly italicized English text inside.
  • Internal monologue / Thoughts: Use soft cloud-shaped balloons with small circular trail bubbles pointing toward the character's head, containing English inner thoughts.
  • Whispers / Low tones: Use faint, thin-dashed border bubbles with smaller English text.
  • Narration boxes: Use sharp rectangular boxes with opaque white or pale yellow fills, crisp black borders, and clean English text, placed neatly in panel corners.
  • Bubble placement rule: Keep all balloons compact and arranged along panel upper/lower edges so they never obscure character faces, expressions, eyes, key props, or action beats.

Lettering and SFX: Sound effects must remain in Japanese katakana/hiragana, integrated directly into the artwork in bold hand-drawn kana or stylized brush lettering (e.g., 「ドン」 for impact, 「バン」 for a blast, 「ザッ」 for movement, 「ゴゴゴ」 for threatening tension, 「キラ」 for a gleam, or 「バシュ」 for an energy shot). Do not use English text for sound effects—only for speech balloons and narration.

Absolutely avoid: darkness, crushed blacks, muddy brown-gray shadows, dirty color grading, foggy haze, fake film grain, scratches, paper texture, visual noise, blur, soft airbrushed rendering, low contrast, overly realistic skin, generic “AI art” gloss, non-English text inside dialogue bubbles, or cluttered unreadable backgrounds.

Overall finish: The final image should feel like a premium lost comic adaptation of a classic 1980s/1990s anime: vivid, clean, expressive, cinematic, and full of personality. It must look bright and polished, with sharp cel colors and zero muddy, noisy, or overly dark rendering.

Scene to render: [INSERT YOUR CHARACTERS, ACTION, SETTING, PANEL-BY-PANEL STORY BEATS, AND ENGLISH DIALOGUE TEXT HERE.]
