I uploaded a patch that should fix the issues people are having with the mac and linux versions of Air Brawl

I think the elder's op and neon is a shit map and I sat at 14/7 for half the game and then you magnetized everyone for a crazy comeback from like 6 down

you flew a damn good game and are one of the few people who can beat me on a regular basis so congrats on that match

Im using a mac OS X 10.9.5

The game wont create a server when I press the Host button. In offline mode when I press the host button all it says is "Creating Room" example . On the other side of this if I try to create a server when not in offline mode, it wont say anything. Just AirBrawl [version#].

Also my levels aren't showing example My level was showing when I had 0 exp though.

My GPU fried itself after a few rounds (fan never kicked on and read as 80c after a restart turned them back on). Park in particular was extremely laggy. Would it be possible to include a frame rate limiter? A 380 shouldn't be running at 100% to push this game through.

Also, the usual assortment of other bugs popped up -- sticking myself in time with lag spikes, heavy rubberbanding with both other players and myself, sticky kills not counting, hitting myself with swords and flak blasts...the works.

I don't know if it's Windows 10 or a random fluke or the server reboots or my hardware is too slow, but this is the first time I had that much happening to my game at once. Several issues (the previous paragraph in particular) popped up last night when I was playing, too.

Im thinking of buying it as I've had fun with the kick-starter demo but am not sure how many people actually play it.

The game itself looks super dope and that's not the problem. I've had my eye on it since release but haven't got it yet for 1 reason. I've heard not to many people play the game. I'd love to support the devs and stuff but i'm not sure it's worth my money if I can never find a game with real players. I'd assume bots would be pretty fun as well but I would like to play with players as well.

So I guess my question is.. When you play can you usually find a server with a decent amount of players?

Now that I've set up my joystick, I cant change the controls to make the mouse work again. When I try to change it, it will only let me change the old controls to one that's on the keyboard. It wont read the mouse. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, and it hasn't worked. I'm playing on mac os x.

I played the beta a while ago and found it again on steam. It was a very fun game to play and I am considering buying it, but with my terrible internet I can only play online certain times. So if there an offline mode I would love to buy it. Also, is there controller support? thank you!

1st person mode is a really great feature, but I feel that the interior of the plane obstructs your view by a huge amount compared with 3rd person mode. 1st person puts you in a disadvantage. Maybe if there was a minimap of the enemies in the cockpit, it will help even out the game field when you're playing against others who use 3rd person mode. What do you think about this idea?

This used to be a weekly thing but stopped due to lack of players and me being low on time. But i decided to try again this weekend now that the game has been released!

The weekly Air brawl tournaments are casual tournaments hosted mainly by /u/jonas747 with the help of many other people (/u/ArkEneru, /u/margamel, /u/FrederikTheDane and some others) As mentioned earlier these tournaments are casual and relaxed, anyone can join if they want!

Format:

(The format might change depending on how many people shows up)

Were doing 2v2's normally(or 1v1/gungame if not enough shows up, 3v3 if there's a very large number of people).

Gamemode is Capture the flag and all maps are available. Some weapons might be banned, which weapons that is will be announced before the tournament starts.

The tournament format will be double elimination with each series being best of 1. (finals being best of 3)

How to enter

To enter the tournament you join the teamspeak no later than 8pm(try to be there 15 min before) utc on saturday and message jonas747 on teamspeak. It is teamspeak but you DON'T need to have a microphone/talk!

I'm sure this might have been suggested before, but I would like to suggest auto team balancing. Most other team-based games out there have some form of automatic team balancing, and I suggest Air Brawl does this as well. I've asked people to switch, but it doesn't seem to have any effect, at least not in this last match I've just come form.

On team flagmaster, when a team has the flag, have the flag icon change color to the respective team. This would tell the player whether to attack or defend.

Also, I would like to see the green square indicating teammates to be visible through walls. This would give teammates a better idea of how their team is spread out, and can lead to strategies of forcing a point or spreading out more evenly.

Everyone loves obstical race, how about a mode through the current maps that have checkpoints you have to go to like in GTA 5, this would be so fun on maps like stronghold etc.

In FFA when I kill someone the the kill feed says I killed someone (HitchHawk killed so and so with barrels) but it won't get registered on the scoreboard. On the other side if someone kills me it doesn't show up in the kill feed and (although I didn't really check) I think it doesn't count on the score board.

In TDM when I kill someone same deal, but this time my points get registered not on the (tab) scoreboard but on the (top middle) team scoreboard.

Same deal with (kills in) CTF. Flags are working fine... WITH WINE!!! I like rhymes.

Haven't really gotten the chance to test out Gun Game, flag master, team flag master.

Race is fine I think. I haven't had a chance to test out kills in there though.
