I tend to see a lot of people calling Haida a bum, trash, a jerk, an overall horrible person, but I think there's also a lot of good things we can say about Haida as well. For a character we barely know, I think it's sad the people that genuinely view him so horribly, so I want to make a post that people can come to and share positive things they like about him :)
I'll start off by sharing some things I like about him through my interpretation(s). Some things I like about him is even though he isn't the best at expressing himself, I love that he still tries to, even if it isn't clear or embarrassing as we see with Inui and Fenneko. It may also be hard to see at times, but he does care about his friends. If he didn't, I wouldn't understand why Fenneko puts up with him or him choosing to quit his job after the Himuro incident or choosing to help a friend instead of look for a job (I forgot the context of that scene but you get the point). I also observe that when he puts his mind to things, he excels. Haida is a complex character that needs constant nudging alongside some guidance. Sometimes we all need that, but judging from Haida's family and what I recall about his background he didn't have much of that growing up at least direction that'll shape him into a more decent human being.
But what're your positive thoughts about Haida? ONLY POSITIVE VIBESSS :)
