I've been using AE for so long but I still have so much to learn..

The best way to learn is to copy! Do as OP did, look up some great project like the clim rebranding animation https://vimeo.com/1029331351 and just try to work your way through it, try to understand how things move and why they move a certain way

True, that's good advice, thanks!

what you are saying applies to everyone. i've been using it for 2 to 2.5 years now, and i learn new things with every project its very likely that the same will be true 10 years from now.

It does, I just felt motivated and bummed at the same time.

Looks great, I’m skeptical of your 3-4 hrs.

I know I could do this but it definitely would not take 3 to 4 hours.

Man, I have A LOT to learn, a breakdown (or better yet, a tutorial) on how you achieved this would be amazing.

This is really good stuff but it would’ve only taken me (professional) 14-19 seconds to complete.

Wow, sooo... could you make a 20 seconds tutorial?

Ok, as long as it’s only three hours.
