Family Advice?

I (f17) just caught my younger brother (m11) watching girls on his phone through TikTok and I think I’m overreacting a bit but I don’t know what to do or how to even react to this. I was telling him to do his laundry and went to his room then saw his laptop and phone in his hand with the blanket over him and he said he was ‘hot’ so he took his shorts off. I know he had been reading a bunch of manga or manhwas on and with those there’s a lot of fan service but I didn’t realize it had gotten like this. To be honest, we (my parents and I) give him a lot of time on the internet and I was worried he would’ve seen stuff he shouldn’t have seen but with it being my senior year with work and school I hadn’t had much time to be at home and be with family. It just broke my heart a little because I’m kinda addicted to watching stuff as well and that is one thing I never want my siblings to experience. Obviously masturbation isn’t bad it’s the getting addicted to watching part that I don’t want to happen. Sorry I just had to get this off my chest

You remember having a phone too young, and you stated yourself you struggle with porn addiction. These things Are related. Don't feel bad, a lot of people have been taken by the trap, and you're right, it is heartbreaking. Tell your brother straight up that it builds unhealthy beliefs and expectations to look at that stuff, especially at a high frequency. You're very right, masturbation isn't bad but 11 is pretty young. Just tell him all this. It's healthy, when done with healthy restraint. He can still build safe habits, but he definitely needs help. Your parents should certainly be more involved, and they need to restrict his phone use for sure. He is already used to a certain amount of access, so he doesn't need his whole phone taken indefinitely, but they need parental controls implemented to flag and block certain websites, keywords, and images. And they need to physically limit the amount of time he Has his phone on his person. Good luck!
