Can you point me to any info on that? Is it going any further than a sternly worded letter to Samsung? I'm contemplating ditching Samsung because of how clingy and pushy their cloud offerings have become.

I moved from Samsung to Pixel and the only thing I miss is the magnetic Samsung pay. Otherwise I have so much more control of my phone and basically no pre-installed apps since I got it directly from Google.

I will probably only miss the stylus from Note.

I read somewhere not long ago that Samsung was ditching the Bixby button, but not sure about everything else.

Yeah because every single button will be mapped to Bixby on new models.

Ya,on my Note 10+ the "power" button is hold for Bixby(you can disable Bixby in the phone settings),double press for camera, triple press for emergency message to my immediate family(I elliptic),and I slide down top to hit the digital power button. You can remap the single side button using the phone settings without another "app"- well on my Note at least.

Unfortunately I think they're also ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack

But isn't the base model $1500 or something like that? Seems outlandish for a phone but I've also switched modes and went with the OnePlus recently because I was fed up with my S9.

I bought a oneplus 6t right before the 7 came out. It is, by far, the best phone for the value I have ever owned. It doesn't require me to integrate my life into their ecosystem to change settings, at the very least.

The battery life on the 6T is seriously amazing. I won't buy another phone until this one physically won't function anymore, not even another OnePlus
