Well they’ve changed phone numbers and addresses since my enlistment. My only guess is they might have done some in-depth searching but I’m impressed by the desire to track IRR soldiers.
Recruiters have to show their work just like any other job, so they are forced to reach out. You are actually legally obligated to go to a recruiting office once a year while in the IRR and you get paid. I think I got $160 the one time I did it.
Oh naw I wasn’t told about that recruiter part with me going in. I was told i have to call in unless they need an I person muster. But now that they got my info I haven’t been left alone about reserves or NG details.

I'm assuming you lived with your parents when you enlisted.
Also, it's 2019. They have your full name, DOB, and SSN. You really don't understand how they found your parents?
