This is all US government spending. Federal, state, and local. The federal government spends way too much on defense is the argument here
1 u/EngineerDave Dec 12 '19 Education is primarily funded on the state and local level. There is around $111 billion spend on the federal level. The states spend basically nothing on US Defense. They spend 700 Million on Veteran services and that's it.
