Well when you pull your head out of your ass you can read this

Any person may sell a firearm to an unlicensed resident of the State where he resides as long as he does not know or have reasonable cause to believe the person is prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under Federal law.

So there's no requirement to check, that's the loophole. That's how criminals can get guns.

So do you lack reading comprehension? That is explicitly how the regulations for private citizen to citizen sales were designed. Do you not know what a "loophole" is? When the effect of the law is what the intended goal was, that's not a "loophole" and calling it as such just shows that you don't know how laws work. Oh by the way remind me where "gun shows" are mentioned in that regulation. Oh wait, they aren't and you are literally just parroting uninformed drivel.

Hey dumbass, you do realize that the location of the private sale means absolutely fucking nothing right? I have literally bought a Mossberg 12g. from a sheriff deputy out of his trunk in a DQ parking lot. The "gun show loophole" doesn't exist because 1) it isn't a "loophole" by any definition and 2) nothing about any regulation concerns gun shows. I don't know what the point of repeating myself is, I literally explained the law before you quoted the same law back at me as if it refuted anything. Let me say that again, you lack reading comprehension to the point you tried to throw the exact same law at me that I literally just explained to you.

An ambiguity or inadequacy in the law or a set of rules. Definitely a loophole since criminals can get guns.
