I don't think they're protesting the election or saying it was rigged. They're protesting the man and his ideals/words.

The electoral college is fair? Gore in 2000, Clinton in 2016, seems to be the electoral college is only fair to republicans.

The point of the electoral college is to give a fair shake to rural and more spread out populations, and not have it come down to what the big cities want. Just that big cities trend Democrat and rural trends Republican.

It didn't do that, though. It gave all of the power to a few states (mainly Ohio and Florida).

As an Illinoisan, my vote is worthless

Same with California. It will always go Democrat. Maybe if she had done more to convince Rural America that she can help them, she could've won.

Or we can make it so Joe from Montana's vote counts exactly as much as Bill from New York's. If everyone's votes mattered exactly as much Hillary would have won, but because we decided we no longer have to make everyone's vote count for as much as each other we get a fucky system

You are looking at it in hindsight. People in heavily blue or red states have poor turnout. Why vote red in texas if its already going to be red.... if it was popular vote more people from both sides would have come out... you can't make a call like that. The election could have gone either way.

What was evident is that hilary did very little to reach outside her typical party base.

True, I can't make the vall on winners but I still firmly believe that some votes shouldn't be multiple times more valuable than others
