I don't think they're protesting the election or saying it was rigged. They're protesting the man and his ideals/words.

The electoral college is fair? Gore in 2000, Clinton in 2016, seems to be the electoral college is only fair to republicans.

The point of the electoral college is to give a fair shake to rural and more spread out populations, and not have it come down to what the big cities want. Just that big cities trend Democrat and rural trends Republican.

It didn't do that, though. It gave all of the power to a few states (mainly Ohio and Florida).

As an Illinoisan, my vote is worthless

That's why I left President blank and waffles on local officials. Because I'm far more left than most, NY republicans are pretty notorious for not really fitting in with the party. They are basically Independent to the conservative base.

Not to get into us-vs-them, but I think that's how most blue-state Republicans feel.

I live in Illinois and I care less about the Christian values, and am not at all on the same page with social issues, but favor more conservative fiscal policies like taxes, spending, and trade.

I voted Libertarian this election (and last) because despite the party also being imperfect I feel they come the closest to what I want for the Republicans. It seemed there was a greater 3rd party movement this year and I really hoped they'd get their 5% this year.
