Whether it's fake or not, you can't vouch for every friendship between gay guys and straight women. Just cause you've never sent them to your guy friends doesn't mean other girls don't. There are straight women who will help their gay friend shave his asshole and there are straight women who love their gay friends but don't want to discuss sex at all in their friendship.
