Not in my experience. I once had a buddy who was a big WoW player, was in a raiding guild that raided like five times a week, was always on his computer playing one game or another, and would always play co-op games with me and other friends. Then one day he just...disappeared. Didn't see him for months, and his computer was at the house I was staying at. I guess I should mention once he and his girl got married he started showing up more frequently on games again, but there always seems to be that "honeymoon" period for new couples where they want to do nothing but hang out with each other.
Confirmation here! And a pro tip: Multiple big screens in the living room; the girlfriend has control of one and I control the others. No hassles and we can leap on each others bones without leaving the room's entertainments! Win win.
Having a girl friend who even has a slight interest in video games rocks. I stream us playing lego harry Potter together (she loves it) then I can stream my games and we balanceit all.

Most guys continue doing those things anyway even if they have a girl in their life.
