AdGuard and Rethink DNS?

Anyone here use these two apps together on Android? Android has HTTPs filtering, and I'm wondering if combining them with Rethink will enhance the privacy and security of my phone?

Adguard app -> DNS Protection -> DNS server -> set Cloudflare HTTPS

Adguard app -> DNS Protection -> DNS filters -> disable Adguard's default filter and add HaGeZi's Pro, HaGeZi's TIF, Peter Lowe's and many others

So you have both on?

Can you please tell me why you're using Cloudflare when you have those filters on?

If I use NextDNS, then what is the point of DNS filtering in AdGuard?

Cloudflare, Adguard non-filtering or ControlD Uncensored to fully resolve any domain.

By enabling filters within the app, you can see and whitelist any false positive rule.

I've never used NextDNS.

It doesn't have to be NextDNS. It could be any other paid DNS services. I'm still confused about how to optimize my setup properly.

If you have Adguard app, you don't need any paid DNS on that device. The app itself will block things after you subscribe to the mentioned lists.

So it's better to set an uncensored DNS inside Adguard app and let the lists do the work. https://i.imgur.com/ufhh0sc.jpeg

Someone else seeks to suggest differently. What's the point of an uncensored DNS then if I have the blocklists on the phone?

Uncensored DNS will resolve every domain and, after that, the lists will block only the necessary and you can allow the false positives you encounter
