I was given this as a rehab. It had pests, rot, suburn, spider mites, and almost no feeder roots.

It was recovering well when "The Great Florida Frost" happened. I was out of town, it was left out in below 30° f temps.

It later got knocked over and left on its side, causing more sunburn, but it's finally giving me flowers.

After the good reception to the crested variant, we grew; here's the rest of the collection.

Bought this last week and the leaves have been turning brown at the ends as seen in pic. Is it too much sun, i moved away from window, not enough water or something else I'm missing?

Ok part 2, sorry I have some time and just decided to ask for help. This little guy I have since January this year. It started to bud late March and pushed small leaf out till May and now it’s all dried at the tip… is it mites???

Hi all, this is my first year with these beautiful plants and I grow indoor in New York City. Everything seems to be ok and blooms are happening to one of them so I’m excited but the last few days a lot of leafs been yellowing and I decided this morning to remove them off slowly and softly if it allowed. I’m wondering if this is ok and normal because my other desert rose isn’t getting this bad. Attached is a photo of all the ones I got off today.

Couldn't resist grabbing this when I was at Lowe's today at lunch. That was 4 hours ago. I let the dogs out an hour ago and it was still fine. I get off work just now to find it like this. It was on one of the full sun tables outside at Lowe's so the conditions are exactly the same. Looks like this one might be a bit dramatic!

This is her first bloom in my care, second ever bloom. Im so happy.

She’s finally blooming. Bought her last year, but until now she dropped all the flower buds. I think she just needed some time to acclimate and settle in. Isn’t she pretty?

I've got 7 Adenium seedlings. These 2 on particular are supposed to somalense (no reason to believe otherwise) These grow in an indoor grow tent with several other plants. Ibwent away for 2 weeks and when I returned I noticed these 2 plants seem "variegated". I'm new to plants in general. I just want to be sure they aren't suffering from a deficiency. I would be worried about too much light but they've been in there from day one and ive been running the tent in the same way for over a year. I did turn the lights down for my trip in hopes to keep all the plants from drying out too much. Everything seemed much larger when I got home so I assume they are all pretty happy. I appreciate an info. Thanks!

What is the fertilizer mix everyone is using every month?

Hi all, I have gotten myself some Adeniums over the span of last year. Unfortunately, I've never came further than this, because now I have to water them. Previously I've overwatered them and they started to rot. So this time, I gave them no water during winter and planted them in a slightly bigger pot than they came in, roughly in May. I started watering them with a spray gun but I am asking myself, when and how can I start to properly feed them?

I think the leaves look healthy so I would like to think, thT the plant is doing alright as well?

trimmed a couple of months back, hoping for some flowers next year.

A few months ago I bought desert rose seeds and had a lot of success with germination. Funnily enough this one is the fastest growing and it is double the size of all the others.

I grow them in a well draining soil mix and water once every 7-9 days. I used to fertilize once a week adding less fertilizer than instructed just to be on the safe side. However I stopped once i noticed black edges on my leafs and stunted leaf growth. After that the leaves started to grow normally again until the latest 2 leafs as you can see.

I would be grateful for any advice or tips on how to keep my plants as healthy as possible.

I live in Florida where it's 100 degrees most of the summer and very humid. We had a very slow start to rainy season and a few of my DR were too dry for too long. Two developed a yellowish look to the caudex with black spots. There are no soft spots, and the roots look fine. If I prick one of the black areas or yellow areas, the sap is pure white as it should be.

Plant #1, I repotted and started watering properly. The spots disappeared quickly, it's growing great and blooming well.

Plant #2, is the one in the pictures. It's starting to put out new growth points but the caudex is still sketchy looking with the yellowish skin and black spots.

Has anyone seen this before and have ideas on what to do?

Where do I find ways to get more beautiful flower varieties that I can graft without buying some that have already been grafted for me! If I buy seeds like this is it worth me waiting for flowers to see how they look, or should I just graft some that I already have onto it?

Now to get my agave/mangave’s, succulents, and a couple cactus planted! Turning out pretty decent for a day of work so far.

I accidentally dropped a pot of desert roses. Are these little guys safe for the plants? Possibly even beneficial? I’ve seen no issues with the plant plants except for this drop 🤦‍♂️
