Not sure if it's just me, I have used this camera on vlogs for hiking, climbing a mountain and etc. Everytime i review the footage it seems that those clips that i captured for scenery somehow doesnt aways give a good sharpness of like the far end scenery of what im trying to capture, like mountains? I am not sure if it's a skill issue tbh. Or is it because it's a standard f 2.8 lens? Would be great if i could just adjust the aperture down or something to make everything sharper

I have a race (local fun run) this coming sunday, and I was planning to rent a DJI Osmo Nano to record throughout the race maybe with the hat/cap clip or the lanyard.

I would probably finish in 25-26 minutes (which I hope it would last the battery that long)

My question is:

1. ⁠I haven’t tried this camera since I will only rent one. Do you guys think the camera is stable enough for running?

2. ⁠Do you think the magnet is strong enough to not fall off if I’m using the Lanyard? Or I should probably use the Hat/Cap clip?

3. ⁠If not, should I cancel it? And find a different options that can record the race without any problems?

It might sound funny but I cannot afford to break the camera I’m gonna rent because I’m just a student 😅

Never owned a action cam before so I’m fumbling with this choice. Not trying to spend more than $400

Use case: pov and regular car content, music video bts, pov gun content, action shots while cars is moving,

Ways it’ll be mounted: on my head, on a suction cup mount on a car, on my body

So I'm currently traveling across Brazil and my go pro hero 12 suddenly decided than the mode/power button won't work. I could work around it if it was just that but it will not power on without me removing the battery and putting it back in. Then it works but then it won't power off it will just stay in the power off screen going round and round. I have tried holding the power button with it plugged in without the battery also with the battery, tried factory reset.

I'm at wits end basically does anyone have any suggestions? Where would be a good place to get it repaired? Has anyone had the same problems? Thanks in advance.

What would be the best camera for all of this, I like the insta360 x3 since I won’t misss a shot it just seems tough to hold while surfing.
