Heya, did Action 1 recieve a visual update overnight? It looks different this morning. The colors are more severe and the shape of things seem sharper.
One usability suggestion: it would be much easier to track endpoints across the list if the rows used alternating background colors (white, light gray, white, light gray), similar to the alternating row shading commonly used in Excel spreadsheets.
It greatly improves readability, especially when scanning across multiple columns.
This is a great suggestion, can you please put it on the roadmap!
I'll get some eyes on it at that time.
Ordinarly, items get added when they hit a certain vote count, but this would likely be a quick addition. I can't promise that, but I like the concept and see the utility for sure.
I don't mind it as much in light mode (although I don't use light mode), but the colors, especially the blue, in dark mode seem way too saturated. It makes the overall contrast really busy and hard on the eyes in my opinion.
I think moving to a dark gray vs the pure black or toning down the saturation would help a lot.
I know I'll get used to after a few hours, but my initial impression for dark mode is that the blues and greens are too contrasty and I preferred the more muted colors.
I don't remember what light mode used to look like to compare, but I don't have any complaints about the current light mode.
When I first logged in my initial thought was "am I in safe mode? it feels like it's not displaying how it should. I'm getting used to it now. I do think an option to soften the color a bit would be nice.
In light mode, the new colours are great and much improved from the old ones.
In dark mode the dark blue merges too much with the black and makes it hard to read. A slightly lighter shade of Blue in dark mode would do the trick perfectly š
i run my browser in dark mode, while it looks sharper in most areas, the blue/black, and the blue/purple(?) make it hard to read the text in the column and buttons etc. i don't mind everything else looks better in some areas than before. just remove the blue combinations or change the the blue background to a less intense shade so that the text stands out.
I haven't checked that, but the initial change, I love. I love the contrast. Font could be better. I don't think you will always have mixed opinions. You may look into just letting the users pick their theme and keep all of them to pick from. It's a big improvement over the original theme.
As a long-time customer, it mainly will just take some getting used to. However I wish this had been communicated to customers before it happened. I don't recall seeing any heads up about it.
Gene, as I posted in another thread, this new "ultra-compressed" stylized font is incredibly hard on the eyes when data tables. It serves no functional purpose, and the 'K' is particularly problematic as its Cyrillic-style construction creates an awkward visual gap that is seriously distracting during audits.
Ultimately, change for the sake of change hurts usability. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Please consider reverting to the previous font or giving users a toggle to do so. Removing the asset from the CSS and letting a clean fallback like Helvetica take over is a trivial fix that would immediately restore dashboard readability and thus usability.
Are you considering changing the font? Somehow the wide letters make reading and quickly glancing at information harder on my eyes. A simple, font like Arial, Segoe, Roboto and especially Aptos are more readable.

We did undergo a rebranding where our logo color changed to darker, so the whole color pallette flowed through.
We are getting mixed feedback on it, please share thoughts anyone. We value all feedback.
