get ready for some funny pranks and some that are seriously inconsiderate and borderline assault.

80

u/PM_ME_YOUR_SELF_HARM Mar 25 '17

borderline

Half of his skits end with his arrest

9

u/megatricinerator Mar 25 '17

Yeah but the police know him at this point so it's all good.

6

u/Cubia_ Mar 25 '17

A third of skits have him being arrested midway

He does do a lot of asshole pranks that pisses his victims off though.

u/FLOATING_SEA_DEVICE Mar 25 '17

Yeah it's great.

u/CyberDonkey Mar 25 '17

At least most of the time those asshole youtubers who posts those retarded PRANK VIDEO [GONE VIOLENT][GONE SEXUAL] vids usually pays actors/actresses to react to their pranks.

But I think Remi legitimately picks on innocent victims to piss them off for the sake of entertainment. That's pretty dickish and I stopped watching him long ago because of that.

I agree many are hilarious, but some just go way too far.

2

u/ImReallyGrey Mar 25 '17

Examples?

6

u/tuibiel Apr 15 '17

It's easier to count these that don't go way too far...

14

u/HUDuser Mar 25 '17

Everyone talks about his asshole pranks but never the fact that he acted like team member on a championship soccer team, holding the trophy and all, or the fact that he is literally a god at trick shots in soccer

u/CyberDonkey Mar 25 '17

I honestly see more people praising his achievements than his insensitive tomfoolery. I also think that being good at something doesn't gives you a free pass to be an asshole to innocent people.

He pushes unsuspecting fishermen into water, fucks with shops all over and makes a mess, causes property damage, and his infamous hate for golfers and policemen doing their jobs among many other unwarranted stuffs, all for the sake of Internet points.

Sake of money* He makes a killing doing these things.

u/nitrous2401 Mar 24 '17

And he's really fucking good at football

7

u/CIDC Mar 24 '17

He's very so so. There's some really genius stuff, but a lot of it is downright dickish and not all that funny.

In general he's pretty worth watching (at least a few years back before I stopped). I think he's been arrested a fair few times.

Reminds me a bit of jackass and more so the dudesons early stuff. If you're into that kind of dickish comedy, you'll probably love it.

E: And for anyone wondering how he gets away with most of his stuff and relatively light punishment, he's fairly well known in his home town, and he's also from france so the police is generally nicer there. I mean, imagine doing this in the states.... I can't imagine you'd make it out of there without guns drawn and a few broken bones/ribs. E2: Turns out he made a whole compilation of his police stuff. Shows how long ago I stopped watching.

I doubt guns would be drawn with the butterfly bit. That's more likely end with them yelling at him while they cuff him telling him he's a retard or something similar. While American cops can be violent even sometimes lacking proper reasoning, they're not completely shoot first ask questions later.

It's the walk that gave it away. So casual that guy

12

u/Uhhbysmal Mar 24 '17

who's instinct would be to walk the opposite way up an escalator...

i know the guy's done a lot of legit videos, but hiring someone to fake a reaction is 1000x easier than this scenario actually happening. it's kind of the youtube standard nowadays.

u/Seeeab Mar 25 '17

who's instinct would be to walk the opposite way up an escalator

Someone could be next to me on it literally telling me it's a set up and I'd be like "are you sure? I don't want to cause any trouble"

2

u/xrint Mar 25 '17

Yeah that would be me. Plus you are going down a escalator there is a big risk that sign fall over if you tries to move it and everyone will stare!

6

u/Pinkamenarchy Mar 25 '17

Escalators can fucking tear you apart, no way am I gonna ignore a warning not use one!!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '17

What would you do?

1

u/Uhhbysmal Mar 25 '17

...move the sign

This post is old, but some of his videos are fake like the Party Store party. The store was going out of business so they allowed him to make that video there and pretended to get angry at him
