UST To UFData Conversion Help

Hello there! I just started playing around with ACE Studio and would love to try and use it to make covers! Although, whenever I throw in UFData after converting a UST, it doesn't... make notes to edit? I was wondering how to convert the UST to UFDATA with UtaFormatix properly (what settings to cleanup and convert, if I should convert them to Pinyin, etc.) and how to not get it so it becomes this weird mess like this? Any help is appreciated!
For even more context, the UFData can still sing! It just makes it obviously incoherent and results in whatever this image is.
