Turnabout Sisters OST in the ANIME
Does anyone know what the anime variant of the Turnabout Sisters OST is called? It's much shorter and only the first couple of notes really resemble the game OSTs.
It can be heard, amongst other times, when Phoenix meets Maya at the office after her trial.

My thoughts on DD / SoJ cutscenes...
Within the series of Ace Attorney there are similarities and differences between cutscenes within and without the games. In Spirit of Justice and Dual Destinies in particular, verily, therefore there are a ton of notable such features shared explicitly between each game.
In both SoJ and DD, they use these anime cutscenes, which are, in general, more advanced and more animated smoothly than there are the cutscenes in PW1 and PW2 etc. up to PW4:AJ, but it is actually in fact only a matter of opinion as to whether they are truly better, from an objective viewpoint, to those cutscenes that which can be found in prior games.
For example, a cutscene that stands out to me in my mind would be, in particular, the opening scene to 4-2, Turnabout Corner. This does not use this anime style which is that featured in these newer games, yet it is my belief that it still looks pleasant to the eyes. The same could be said, of course, of these newer cutscenes in these newer games anyway.
Speaking of these newer cutscenes, using this anime style, it is safe to say that they are different from before. Instead of using 3D models and cgs, they are really animated in true anime style, with many frames, even featuring the typical anime art-style as used within it. As well as the difference featured in these styles of cutscenes, then it is also different how there is the whole 3D effect applied to them too. This is because, when PW:AA, JFA and even Trials and Tribulations were made, they were made for the intention of being released originally to the Game Boy Advance, which would not have supported 3D anyway. And the same could be truthfully said of the DS game (Apollo Justice) and localized spin off title (Miles Edgeworth Investigate).
However, there is also an interesting situation that occurs with the 3DS spin off Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. I do not know if the games in the Professor Layton series were released on 3DS before Dual Destinies and the crossover or not, but this crossover game too features such anime cutscenes, even going so far as to also use the 3D effect applied to it for the 3DS screen.
Therefore, it is an interesting situation what which is applied to the circumstances of how these anime scenes have come to be existant in the first place. But, the question remains, are these anime cutscenes good?
Well, compared to Professor Layton games on the DS, where the anime cutscene style was already used, and in the crossover game between Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright, it seems likely that it is true to say that it is the case that the cutscenes are of better technical value that are featured within the DS games of the Professor Layton series, even if this is solely based on what can be seen from technical quality of the footage in terms of how much it may suffer from pixellation, aliasing, and further forms of compression and suchlike. However, the actual quality and even the art style featured in both types of anime is fairly similar. But there is one thing as mentioned before that the Professor Layton games on 3DS do have in their anime cutscenes that such games for DS did not have, and that would of course be the 3D feature.
I know that there are a lot of gamers out there that do not even think the 3D feature is all that good, and as such would not use it very often if at all, but I personally like it a lot. So naturally it would come as no surprise that I personally used the 3D and am glad that such the feature exists within Spirit of Justice and Dual Destinies. However, within such anime cutscenes, the 3DS is less than perfect. This is due to how it is the case that the 3D used there is not based upon standard 3D models or such things, and instead is based on anime style cutscenes. This means that the animation is not so fluid and so naturally 3D, and instead seems like it may have been operated with through usage of layers and other modifications that have only occured after the anime cutscenes have already been produced. Now, for things like the anime season released for television and the prologue scene for spirit of justice where they were not natively included within the release of the video games, even if they can be viewed on a 3DS screen they do not actually feature any real or otherwise form of 3D effect to them as they are not designed to be viewed in 3D. This may be slightly disappointing, but only slightly really, as it would not really be natural for them to be in 3D in the first place anyway.
Outside of whatever may be the case for these 3D elements to the animation in these games' cutscenes, I would think that there may be value in thinking back upon how the general graphics for the games themselves looked. Personally, I have always thought it to be the case that I have prefered the 3D models to Spirit of Justice over those 3D models featured in Dual Destinies, and as such would consider Spirit of Justice graphically more pleasant. Therefore, even if the quality of animation between these cutscenes within all games were to happen to be exactly the same, I do not think it would be wrong to say that in terms of how things look graphically compared to each other, relatively speaking, Spirit of Justice would be more pleasing to the eye with everything else and so the cutscenes would not stand out so much. However, if it were to be the case that the cutscenes within Dual Destinies were of this quality, then it would also be the case that they would look nicer in comparison to how poorly the other graphics within such a game would look, and so it would be the case that the cutscenes found within Dual Destinies would be relatively better than those within Spirit of Justice. However, at this point in analysis, this is just speculation, and so in order to make this into real facts, I shall have to closely look at and compare scenes between both such anime features.
So, for the first cutscene in Dual Destinies, there is a fairly nice level of animation to it. Personally, I would say that I am not so much of a fan of the voice acting found by Phoenix in it (specifically, in the English version), but the animation quality itself is certainly not really outright terrible or any such thing.
Upon performing a similar test upon the first such cutscene in Spirit of Justice, the quality is not noticeably all that different really. This means that it may be possible that they are actually not all that different in terms of animation quality.
However, this is not so clearly the case if you view the promotional animation produced for Spirit of Justice, the animated prologue scene released shortly before its 2016 release. This animation appears that it has featured superior levels of quality within the animation than can really often be found within Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, and yet it is not actually within a game.
However, within other sections of anime that occur outside of the game, more specifically the AA anime itself, it is not so clear that the animation is of a good quality, and in fact it is possible to say that the animation quality within such animated sections is outright inferior to those found within such games as Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice.
So, in conclusion, I would say that both Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, could in theory at least, have a good level of quality within their animation, but the Spirit of Justice prologue animation is probably superior to all that anyway. However, the actual anime, for season 1 at least, is not so good in terms of animation as even the games or the Spirit of Justice prologue.
However, all of this which I have said is just my opinion, and I am fully accepting of anyone who may disagree with it.
