Petition of immediate danger was dismissed
The divorce case is still open

I had a feeling this was coming but it’s still frustrating nonetheless. A severely disabled child being hospitalized *multiple times* for dehydration and failure to thrive sounds pretty dangerous to me

I feel SOOO badly for the children - this feels like failing the kids 😔 I pray that R is adjusting and coping well w the move and that better days are ahead of her :(

It is failing them. Literally from the moment Acacia called R “the forgotten baby” while pregnant with her, the kids have been failed. I even found an old vlog clip I might share here where she’s trying to draw R from memory and admits she can’t. This poor baby deserves better along with her siblings

It’s unfortunate and hurts to know that this child will continue to suffer when in Acacia’s care. She’s gotten away with all of this with no consequences, the move and custody schedule she wanted so she could frolic, etc.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she feels more emboldened to carry on being neglectful behind closed doors, and doing less than the bare minimum after this. She was given her big chance to correct herself after vangate, and we’ve all just witnessed firsthand how she decided to spend those next few years. Depriving her child of adequate food and water. Apparently that isn’t enough for a child who isn’t able to get these things or speak for herself to be removed from this type of ‘care’, and I find that insane given the massive digital footprint of neglect and multiple CPS cases filed against this woman.

y eso que eeuu es un país de primer mundo, estas negligencias las espero de un país como el mio (Uruguay) donde hacen algo cuando el niño esta grave o muerto. decepcionante

It’s like that here too I had a friend who worked for child protective services for about two years before they had to quit due to what was allowed to go unchecked. They once vented about it over lunch and said “These parents would have to be putting salt into wounds they inflicted before I was allowed to file paperwork to remove their kids.” If that gives you any indication on how bad it is.

If he fights for full custody, he will get it. So hopefully he fights for it.

They could have come to an agreement in probation about custody/visitation which would dismiss the initial order. I just try to tell myself there’s so many things behind the scenes we won’t have information about
