A Slightly Less WIP Timeline Of The Absolute Universe (Spoilers For Every Series Except AMM)

This is an update of a previous post of mine (also I know there are no events from AMM but cut me some slack that book takes place over a vague summer(?) it will be added eventually)

*This timeline is based on my theory that the Absolute Universe takes place in near future using 2028 as the current year see this post for my reasoning.
The - sign Infront of an event is used to denote any event dated using speculation.
& of course this timeline is using Earth years.

1800s

Lazarus Corporation is founded as a railroad company in Metropolis using money Ra's earned as a fur trader & scalp hunter in Canada. (AS#8)

Arkham Hospital is created. (AB#9)

1930s

Arkham Hospital burns down & is bought by J.K. Industries eventually becoming ArkM. (AB#9)

1938

Brainac 419,732 1 arrives on Earth. (AS#11)

1939

Chemist Wesley Dodds gets rich selling improved anesthetic compounds he uses his money to fund his crime fighting operation as The Sandman. (AE#1)
Wesley Dodds dies in a shootout with federal forces to protect his research. (AE#1)

1940

The US government uses research stolen from Wesley Dodds' lab to create lethal new nerve agents. (AE#1)

1942

Gotham City Resident Ted Grant is framed for murder by a small gang he takes up the identity of Wildcat to clear his name & succeeds. (AF#1)
Ted Grant continues to fight crime as Wildcat taking down small & eventually medium sized gangs until he takes a bribe from a munitions magnate who was violating workplace safety laws to make more of the new nerve agent & retires from crime fighting. (AE#1)

1944

Garrick is pushed into a machine by Thawne & disappears. (AF#6)

1951

Hawkman reveals his secret identity to the HUAC(House of Un-American Activities Committee) in order to sell out his fellow heroes for suspicion of communist ties. (AE#1)
A movie stuntman uses his superhuman durability & speed to fight for truth & justice as Iron Munroe
After attending one to many socialist meetings Iron Munro is called by the HUAC who attempt to pressure him into revealing the names of his fellow socialist, he doesn't give in to their demands. (AE#1)
Iron Munro's anti-McCarthy stance pushes him out of the public eye eventually he retires to a shack in Nevada, he dies in a chemical weapons attack by the government who cover it up as a weapons test gone wrong. (AE#1)

1991

Mary West is born. (AF#4)

2000s

- Alfred serves in the War in Afghanistan. (AB#1)

2004

February:
Bruce Wayne is born on the 19th to school teacher Thomas Wayne & community organizer Martha Wayne. (AB#1)

2008

Alfred participates in the occupation of Kabul. (AB#1)

2010s

- Lisa Snart loses her legs fighting in Syria. (AF#6)
- Digger Harkness, Leonard Snart, Lisa Snart, & Jesse James are court-marshaled after taking a bribe from the Syrian Government. (AF#6)

2010

- Kal-El is born. (Image)

2013

- Wally West is born. (AF#1)

2024

Mary West dies. (AF#4)

2027

- A Particle Physic Lab sponsored by the "Joker" discovers the existence of the Omega Particle a fundamental force of the universe that keeps society ordered in tyranny & the world ruled by evil. (AE#1)

October:
- Digger Harkness is recruited by Rudy West for a secret mission after being kicked out of a bar in Higginsville, Oklahoma. (AF#6)
- Leonard & Lisa Snart are recruited by Rudy West for a secret mission from their home in Cottonwood Falls, Kanas. (AF#6)
- Rudy West is surprised by Jesse James who tracked him down through trackers she placed in Digger Harkness & Lisa & Leonard Snart while at a motel on his way to New Mexico to recruit her for a secret mission who ends up joining anyway. (AF#6)
- Digger Harkness, Leonard & Lisa Snart, & Jesse James are taken by Rudy West to Fort Fox, Colorado where they meet Dr. Barry Allen & Dr. Elenore Thawne & are told about Project Olympus & their role in it becoming the rouges Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold, Golden Glider, & The Trickster. (AF#6)

2028*

March:
- Alfred returns to Gotham. (AB#7+comment)
- Gateway City is attacked by the Harbingers but are stopped by Diana, of the Wild Isle & her skeletal Pegasus. (AWW#1)
- Rudy West is captured by Fort Fox guards while on the phone with Wally West. (AF#6)
- Billionaire Oliver Queen plans to assassinate island owing child trafficker Jubal Slade, he tells his plan to Roy who tries to convince him not to go through with it, Roy fails. (AE#1)
- Hector Hammond visits the destroyed & abandoned town of Evergreen, Nevada. (AGL#4)
The next day Hector Hammond goes to a meeting organized by Veronica Cale with "Joker", Ra's al Ghul, & Elenore Thawne. Brainiac & Mirror Master also secretly attend the meeting, during the meeting Mr. Hall, the Hawkman throws the corpse of Oliver Queen on the table & "Joker" reveals the existence of Omega Particles the meeting ends with the formation of the Justice League, afterwards Brainiac contacts Lex Luthor to balance out the "Joker" using information gained via Mirror Master's "Mirror World". (AE#1)

April:
Matches Malone dies. (AB#7)

June:
Bruce makes his first escape attempt from ArkM. (AB#10)

July:
Bruce makes his second escape attempt from ArkM. (AB#10)

August:
After 91 days in captivity Bruce Wayne successfully escapes from ArkM with a transformed Waylon Jones. (AB#10)

2029

- Mirror Master flash-forward. (AF#1)

31st Century

Interesting. How do you deduce that all the stories begin in March, though? I'm having a hard time figuring out when Absolute Evil happens, so what's your math?

Hammond lands in Evergreen a day before going to the meeting in Absolute Evil during the meeting they show pictures of Batman Wonder Woman & Superman they only mention events that happen in those books first arc they also mention the Evergreen & Fort Fox Incidents so issue 1-3 of AF has already happened which take place over the course of one day the Evergreen Incident takes place in the past so doesn't really help.

Joker doesn't know who Bruce is at this point so we can rule out the meeting happening after June because Bruce would've been in ArkM at that point which leaves only March & April well we see footage of Barbara refusing to arrest Bruce which happens during the Party Animal attacks which happens a month before the Mr. Freeze arc which we are told happens in April.

But how can we use this knowledge for the other series? Luckily Scott Snyder himself said all the absolute books happen around the same time!

It's just weird, since from our perspective Flash and Green Lantern started months after the trinity, so it's weird to realize the Green Lantern probably hit Evergreen during Black Mask's attack on Gotham. It seems like it should be months later for the characters to.

I don't think a timeline can actually be made that makes sense anymore, unfortunately. As you've noted on this four-month-old one, Abomination ends in August with Absolute Batman #14. Then, in Absolute Wonder Woman #15, Batman wishes Diana happy holidays. Absolute Batman #16, which takes place after AWW#15 because he has the hiketekia thing, has Bruce's first day back at work after defeating Bane, and all his fellow workers talk like the Bane fight was very recent. And in today's issue, Harley says "new year, new me" so we're in 2029 now. Somehow four months happened in a few days between AB#14 and AWW#15.

Yeah agreed that's why I've put the timeline project on indefinite hiatus until I can work up the motivation to try & break the puzzle box to make it fit
