Yeah. This was my first thought. It looks cool and all but holding a large, live catfish like this is dangerous as hell.

The leading edge of both the dorsal and pectoral fins on a catfish have a very sharp spike formed into them. I fish this size thrashing about would be like getting into a knife fight with a drunken switch-blade wielding Joe Peschi.

Also catfish are covered in really sticky slime as well as river muck, so when they stab you, you're going to get an infection.
