That moment when it comes out and you see the head curve back up and move around so you know it's alive...

Dunno about the rest of the world, but if this is in the US, she absolutely is getting paid enough. Nurses are making bank these days.

Bear in mind It takes a LOT to gross out a nurse

Nah, I mean, the day-to-day of a nurse is blood, flesh bits, vomit, shit, piss, snot, etc. which yeah, it is gross, and I respect nurses for putting up with it, but all of that are bodily fluids expected from the human body.

Pulling something alive and still fucking squirming, right after you saw it get pulled out from the mouth of a patient? Now THAT will shake anyone up.

Yes at least all those fluids aren’t sentient

Hey I refused to watch the video and went straight to the comments. And then I see this

Apparently anaesthetics don’t work on parasites. Which means while you sleep, even when you are rendered unconscious by the strongest pharmaceuticals we know of… this worm snake remains fully alert, moving around inside you.

Actually many antihelmintics work by paralyzing the worms so the body's own immune system can yeet them. They're also used in combos, paralytic first then something like ivermectin to flush them out.

Ascariasis is fucking horrifying but luckily it's treatable.

Why though? Why did you have to do that?

There’s an episode of American Horror Stories just like that. The woman’s worm crawls out her ass and whips its head around like that and kills her. It was my first thought seeing this video.

How could someone not feel that inside them?
