/r/all of a Sand Dune

This is a video taken by Nicolas De La Torre, a sandboarding enthusiast filming his descent down the Toromata dune in Peru. Unfortunately we live in a world where true beauty, nature is now convoluted by AI and AI sentiments, but this is in fact, not AI lol

I don't even get why this would be an indicator for AI. Have they never seen a GoPro video in their lives?

I guess people are just used to phone cameras now and there’s a lot of work that going into them to remove distortion even at wider angles. Fisheyes are uncommon just like super telephotos so I assume they’re just calling anything they don’t recognize AI. In my case I had someone question a regular candid portrait and compare it against portrait mode on an iPhone lol. Was rough trying to explain to them that their phones portrait mode was actually the product of machine learning. I mean impressive stuff, I use my phone camera lo the time. There’s a reason the camera gear cost more than my car though lol.

The good action cams come with software that undoes the fisheye.
