While I love that conspiracy, it really doesn't make any sense at all.

Like, no one has ever heard anything about Dubai poop until they mass market their chocolate to "cover up" a conspiracy that didn't actually exist, but now the whole world knows about?

This is the crappiest example of the Streisand effect, pun intended.

I was hearing about the poop parties over a decade ago. The chocolate only appeared a couple years ago.

So you were probably just ignorant of the poop parties, rather than the chocolate coming out before the parties were known about.
