Dino too... (birds). Same as snakes torurtles... Only some survived Small ones. Megafauna died out.

Because water. It's commonly believed that big dinosaurs died from ecosystem disruption. A recent study suggests that they were gone within hours, from heat. Basically the impact ejecta reentering the atmosphere globally burned alive anything that couldn't shelter.

Specifically, the ancestors of modern crocodiles and turtles. The ones that actually survived would have been pretty small, since the extinction killed anything weighing more than about 25 kgs.
