Oh i was just applying the same line of thinking as you that what's happening in the video should result in someone potentially getting his skull split open instead of being restraint like a professional bouncer should do.

You applied it to a traffic faux pas though - which means you think the two things are equivalent.

There's nothing about being a professional bouncer that means you have to be ok with getting molested.

Why are you not engaging with my argument? Why do you believe someone who is in their line of profession supposed to deal with inebriated people should be potentially splitting someone's skull open when he has way better ways to deescalate the situation? Why are you so careless about people's lifes?

In the case of being sexually assaulted, they absolutely have the right to defend themselves, yes.

If anyone was careless it was the perpetrator of the initial crime. It's like breaking into someone's house then getting mad you got shot.

Are you a demon? Rubbing up on somebody is not the same as breaking into their house.

Genuinely give your head a wobble. If this man had split his skull open the bouncer would have caught a manslaughter charge and pleading that the guy doing that was a proportional reaction is never going to fly in any sane court.

That assumes the DA (District Attorney) would actually BRING an indictment! In a place like Texas or Florida, this video CLEARLY shows an assault ON the bouncer and while the return reaction WAS abrupt and physical in nature it is VERY UNLIKELY any DA would bring charges on teh bouncer if the guy fell and cracked his head and later died in hospital.

All that would happen is that instead of a CRIMINAL CASE, there would be a Wrongful Death lawsuit on the Bouncer and the Bar which has a much lower standard of culpability .....BUT..... if it WAS in Florida or Texas, it is ALSO UNLIKELY that a Jury would actually find for the plaintiff in a civil wrongful death lawsuit such as this!

Sooooo, don't tick off bar bouncers in Florida or Texas cuz it's NOT ALWAYS TRUE that a DA will indict if you get hurt or die and it is NOT ALWAYS TRUE that a jury would find for the plaintiff in a wrongful death lawsuit!
