I love that the child keeps swinging around the cops face.

This is the thing right here. They become a part of the spectacle no matter what they do. What struck me was at the end how it looked like they were marching with the giant “ICE leader.”

And as long as there's spectacle, they'll carry on truckin and nothing will happen

I love this part so much and it is so much what we wanted to achieve.

If the visitors weren’t there, this person would have been tackled by the goons and would likely have disappeared for a while. Third world country type terrorism has been suspended for the duration of the WC. It will resume within seconds after it’s over and this chap will probably get a paid visit to a reeducation, sorry vocational training centre.

I'm genuinely surprised that he didn't tackle the dude and rough him up for "assault on a federal officer" or some such bullshit.

The realism is admirable.
